My Thoughts on the Bathmate After 2 Years.

Thanks for the reply! I was citing my experience, and yes, that was with air vacuum.
I did do some water pumping, and it seemed different to me, and it did work better

I plan on sticking exclusively with the Pulsar electric pump and Phallosan during the night and see where I’m at January 2017.

Hopefully by then I can use the bathmate x40 Xtreme with more effective results or at least as a curious observation of how my conditioning will effect a session.

Kegels are a constant battle but I continue to pursue them with small gains in EQ

My opinion is that you should be focusing on blood flow and restoring it after using an extender for long periods of time or even short periods of time. If I were you, I wouldn’t over complicate things by adding more devices. I’d just do some mid eq jelqing to make sure you are getting some fresh blood in there. This would also fill out and further work the tissues you’ve previously manipulated.

Okay.. I guess I am going with that for now.. But I noticed from adding alot of variety everything makes a difference.. For example ill use a noose, then a strap and then jelq-you never know where the gains are coming from.

I’m finding that I get some immediately noticeable gains from new things that
I never did when I was very successful in the early 2000’s. I now do a clamp routine at
night, and an ADS all day. I’m nearly doing some kind of passive PE routine 24/7 and
getting some good power jelqs in the shower. GIRTH is showing up the most, but IMO
the length is looking a bit better, FL and EL both. I’d say develop a solid routine but be
sure to work in some variety. Not at the expense of the routine, however. Just to break
the monotony of the “daily grind” :D

I want to get back to “hedgehog” status, I’m a bit shy of that and a bit too much belly! ;)
But I could easily do it before, standing, sitting, you name it. EASILY! 3” in the mouth.

Just wanted to thank the many contributors to this forum for a very informative thread. It’s clearly told me what to realistically expect, also what to do and what not.

About me - I turned 47, and even though I keep in excellent shape (6’2, 215lbs and six pack) and have never suffered from any dysfunction, hey, at some point in time I had to admit my erections weren’t as rock solid. So, especially after getting divorced -such things happen, and life is good- I wanted to kind of rejuvenate my penis some. Hence, before reading this forum, I got the Bath-mate Hercules pump. It had good reviews and I wanted to keep things basic.

I do not want to spend too much time doing it - I do work out for about 75 minutes every day, and 20 minutes will have to do for PE (I am even learning some new acronyms in here :-D). While it is an important part of my body, I want to keep things in balance and not obsess about it.

My experience thus far (3 weeks into it) is positive, especially after a bit of a weird first week. It seems that initially I overdid things, going for a decent pump for 30 minutes and doing kegels seemingly fatigued my resources down there, because things got a bit spongy erection quality wise. Once I did the 30 minute routine before my current partner came over, and while I could still slide it in with the old choke-the-base trick, and things built up from there, it was still a close thing and I’d rather not face that again. Mind you, she knew something different was up, because I saw her eyes open up wide in surprise, and she commented afterwards that I felt huge. And that, folks, is why we do this. :-D

After that I did things with more moderation, and things have been good, even though obviously I am still learning how I react to it. I am a bit hesitant to use it right before my girlfriend visits because of the close call I mentioned. Maybe a more moderate amount of time (5 or 10?), but haven’t experimented much. But it feels as if I am building up ability to get harder right after my main morning 20 minute session. I put it on when I take a shower (at home obviously) after the gym, set the timer for 20 minutes, and then shave and do all the stuff. I also let it hang lose, which was uncomfortable at first, but on the other hand I think it’s a good additional exercise. When I take a bath once or twice a week in the evening to relax, I use it again, so once or twice a week I’ll do 2 20 minute sessions a day. The pump effect seems to slowly but surely decrease through the day, but a visual check tells me it stays bigger than before I started this some weeks back. BTW the Bath-mate instructions merely state 3x5mins once a day, and say nothing about doing it hard or soft. I typically go in soft, and come out with a penis that feels semi-hard but hangs down semi-half-mast.

As to my girlfriend, she seems to be adjusting, and keeps wondering if I am taking something. She’s a smart girl. :-) She can’t yet take me for as long as she used to - she is a firecracker, but on the petite side.

How big was I and how big am I now? Honestly I have no clue, I do this by visuals and never felt compelled to hold a tape to my penis. All my girlfriends have called me from big to huge at some point, but then again we know they say things to flatter us on occasion. It does seem my girth filled the tube wall to wall from the get go, and the base of my dick looks like an accordion at the end of the session, so maybe I ought to have gone bigger, I’ll think about it over time, for now this seems more than enough of a workout. I have never had the balls getting-sucked-in thing happen, thank heavens, that sounds like something that would me me immediately trash the Bath-mate. :-P

In a nutshell: I am a happy Bath-mate customer. I can tell visually that after only 3 weeks things look more “authoritative” through the day, and don’t expect permanent outcomes in a day. Being a gym nut, I know the body reacts slowly but surely to the effort you invest into it. I don’t expect my penis to be any different. But it’s most certainly a part of my body where I’d tolerate no workout injuries (not that I enjoy them in general). But while I will tolerate soreness in my muscles, I don’t want to push things down there to that point, hence I expect slower progress. And I am OK if the effect are transitory, having the Bath-mate has also caused me to be finally diligent about doing my kegels, (I think it forces you to do them involuntarily as you walk around your place with the tube hanging) and that is a great thing in itself.

Again - thanks for sharing your experiences over time with the Bath-mate.

On the supplement side - I have always taken a top multivitamin, and add Tribulus Terrestris, Arginine, Lecithin, Pigmeum and Saw Palmetto.

Saw palmetto inhibits DHT I would not take it.

It would be interesting for the forum if you recorded your measurements and checked them every once in a while but of course this is up to you.

So far it seems you had a little boost in EQ, but doing kegels on a regular basis will help with that (depending on pelvic floor fitness).

Saw Palmetto is supposed to be good stuff for the prostate and supposedly can help prevent prostate cancer. My family has bad genes in that area, hence that and Lycopene.

Does not seem to inhibit my PE efforts!

I have been taking it for 10 years, and my testosterone level seems high. I do weights every day (have been for over 30 years) and look the part.

Might I ask what your “T” levels are, if you had it tested? ng/dL is the units used.

I had my last one about 2009-2010 and I was hitting the supplements and PE pills
quite hard, and it was really working out well for me. The NP (nurse practitioner)
was lecturing me, said I should stop abusing the Andro-Gel scrip I had before,
which I was not using, because my T levels were 1189 on a 1050 test limit :D

IDK who determines these “limits” but I was feeling quite good on those levels.
The Big Johnson was looking awesome as well, and I do believe the T levels
have an impact on the size of it. Length and Girth, and great EQ to go with it.

I must say wow, this stuff really works. I am sure they are -for now- just temporary gains. But today I did a 30min session at around 2pm. Warm water, pump it up, just leave it on for 30mins while I work out of the home office. Around 5.30pm, my girlfriend came over, ad we went to have sushi dinner. We got back to my place a bit after 7pm and things heated up quickly. Once again, she remarked I was huge. This is over 5 hours after the pumping session, mind you. And I got to admit it looked impressive. We have always had a great sex life, but today she went absolutely crazy. She had about 4 orgasms in 30 minutes, and it’s not like I was doing anything different. My only worry now is that she’ll feel I am inadequate if I forget to pump one day.. :-/

OK! It will be great to know, my “T” levels were quite high, but many around here say that is not even needed for growth. I had a good bit of extra length that I attributed to the “T” levels, and I was also ejaculating in various ways around twice a day for quite some time, perhaps two years or more. I am now trying for the Happy Medium, where I will not have to buy so many supplements, but get the biggest gains with the latest techniques :D I’m over 50 now, but those 20-something (and UP) girls really respond in a positive way. I project a positive aura, but it is a bit overboard at times, the positive feedback I get. Fun Stuff! ;) A lot of it has to do with my “Pheromone Trick” I believe.
