My Thoughts on the Bathmate After 2 Years.

I use the Bathmate more as a warm up than a standalone device . Its great as a pre clamp or jelq workout. And its great to use as before sex give you a porn star dick in mins . I love mine.


My Goal = P.E Till Condoms Can't Fit :)

I use mine a few times a week in my morning shower for almost two years. My permanent gains are approximately +0” length and +0” girth. So why do I still use it?
1. My schedule and privacy is totally not conducive to proper manual PE, which I still think is the best approach.
2. Serious pumping training hurts my EQ but using the Bathmate a few times a week seems to help.
3. I believe all positive PI PE training can only help prepare you for gains that may come in a spurt.
4. At the very least, I’m hoping there are some small gains that will accumulate over the next 10 years.
5. I enjoy the novelty of going to the office in the morning with my pumped swollen penis.

Bottom line, I won’t pay to replace my Bathmate if it breaks and won’t even pay for a replacement comfort ring that fell off in the first few months. I wouldn’t recommend anyone buy one at full price but if you can afford to waste $30 on a Chinese knock off then it has some novelty value. At $30, I think they’d be as prevalent as Fleshlights for penis health and pumped sex novelty.

Icemann, and JD both of you just hit the nail on the head. I use mine now to warm up and for sex. I can say on a positive my EQ has been great. And I wasted big bucks on not one but two Bathmates then I read everything on here and was like FUCK! But hey at least I got some positives out of it.

Bathmate not worth the bother.

I got some nice gains from extending, so I know the PE works, but I can’t say I ever got any gains from my Bathmate.

I gained 1.25 inches from hanging 2.6 pounds 4 to 6 hours a day (using a Vac3) in about 6 to 9 months. I also gained some nice girth, maybe from jelqing, but I didn’t really get much flaccid increase, so that is why I am now pumping.

I have only been pumping for a few months, but I have noticed better EQ, and harder erections; just like others have commented on, but I prefer using my LA tube with a modified aquarium pump to my Bathmate. I am pumping cycles. I pump up for awhile then dump the vacuum and start over every few minutes. Flaccid gain is the hardest to measure because it can vary so much, so I can’t say it’s working for sure, but my girl friend has made some comments in those regards, so possibly it is, and like others say even the temporary gains are really fun.

I can’t say for certain if a bathmate works or not. What I can say is that across the pumping forums I’ve visited a few things are common place when someone speaks of gains. They either did a low hg daily routine or high hg routine with breaks. They almost always have been pumping for YEARS and treat it more like a pleasure device and less like a penis exercise.

If you do not ( in my own experience ) treat it like bibs hanging routine than it won’t really do anything. I waterpump every day. I vary my routine and pressure to keep from having to take a break.

When I started water pumping early last year I couldn’t pack a 2” cylinder and mainly had to use the 1.75” one. I use the LUV idea and keep it at a half inch bellow bpel. My gains would go after a little while.

Now I can easily pack a 2.25” tube 3/4th the way up in under 30 min at low pressure. Gains? I measured for the first time in months about 7 hours after a 30 minute session and it was a solid 6” girth. That’s a 1/2 inch more than a starting 5.5 from last year.

Is it permanent? I don’t know. What I do know is I stopped chasing a number and have started being more concerned with packing bigger tubes with as little edema as possible.

It’s no longer a routine, it’s now more of a sexual pleasure. For me water pumping works!

Yea Stay positive PE is a learning process. Some device work by them self and some complement others.

Congrats on your gains . Mine have been weak .4 in girth well maybe that’s not so bad since that’s in 6month period for implementing the BM clamping and dry jelq. I should of stop depending on the BM along time ago. What device you use for your length exercises?

No, a cylinder with acrylic hose and a shut off valve. Only good way I can see for measuring vacuum is comparing it to air pumping. Wit water pumping you can easily over do it without realizing it. Keeping a length of 7.5” in the tube feels like 3hg in an air pump, 8” feels like 10+hg. My goal is to expand out not up.

More On The Bathmate

The first thing I noticed (I have the Hercules) is that whatever vacuum I was able to get wasn’t much. The instructions not to go beyond 15-20 minutes seemed laughable .. I went 30 minutes on my first real session and saw no blistering .. So then I noticed that the company has introduced a pump with an air bulb type vacuum pump. So I’m betting that folks complained about not getting good pumps. Ironically, getting one got me into wet pumping with my old air cylinder, and modifying a larger water vessel to catch water before it gets to the pump.

Now, positives of the Bathmate were what others observed, more girth (just what I want .. ) And less fluid swelling after pumping. So it dawned on me that I could probably combine both my old air pump with the Bathmate; I am now experimenting with a suction cup, just large enough to fit over the end of the valve with a nozzle glued through a hole drilled in the center of the suction cup, so that I can get better vacuum in it. Well, it might turn out that I have two systems to fool around with.. Not a problem says I!

Ahh! I see now why a couple of folks got all wired up about me mentioning Extenze.
Truth is, Extenze was a very small part of my supplement routine, and supplements
Are a small part of the entire PE routine. I also added Horny Goat Weed, (no brand)
Vitex (Agnus Castus herbal supplement) Horse Chestnut herbal, (vein and artery health)
And several other things that escape my memory at the moment. Do I think Supplements
Help? Yes! They may be the key to rapid recovery and faster growth, but that’s just my
Impression. I think I am developing a resistance to Extenze, same as I did with Enzyte,
But I have not found a comparable replacement. I am considering buying HGW in bulk.
That’s Horny Goat Weed, and Vitex also. That is the common name, but I got mine at GNC
Which as quit carrying it as a separate product. Very Sad! :( It really seemed to keep
Free Testosterone, “free” so to speak.

I am open to alternatives to Extenze, please suggest your favorites!
As for “BathMate” I built my own. I built all my own PE devices, and I have a good
Alternative 2 handed Jelq Grip that seems to work better for my hands, as I approach
Bigger girth gains. I also read years ago that minimal vacuum, 1.5 to 2” Hg was best.
For me, doing air pumping, it worked lots better, I did not get the fluid build up.
Cialis or Viagra pumping works better too, go in mostly erect for best results,
And the Kegels make a big difference as well. The Viagra Pumping seems to
Become permanent faster, but I did it after lots of normal, less effective pumping sessions.
I would recommend lots of warm-up and jelqs before and after! I had a very good 6.5” MEG
Going for several years, with sparing Jelq sessions for maintenance. The “supplements”
Seem to help me maintain a big EG and girth tends to start tapering off if I quit them.
YMMV, meaning “Your Mileage May Vary” :D

I have a Bathmate x40 Xtreme - Any idea what the actual maximum allowable pressure is measured in HG?

Reason I ask is I recently bought a Vacu-Tech Pulsar electric pump and I’ve used it to the highest setting of 11HG without too much discomfort near the end of a workout.. Curious observations

Feedback would be appreciated :)

My experience with the vacuum pressure in the x40 Xtreme while using the hand pump has been significantly more intense than at 11Hg while using the Pulsar although keep in mind comparing electric to water pumps is like comparing apples to oranges is what it feels like. Two great pumps but very different experiences and pressure.

One of the many goals of mine is to max out the length of the x40 and getting at least close to the maximum 6.9 girth circumference. I feel confident long term about achieving the length but the girth is a different beast to master all together. I’ve achieved close to or spot on 6.4- 6.5” girth but this was with massive expansion and obviously significant fluid retention. It did however inspire me to put more effort into the PE goals.. So I would say a positive spin off was achieved.

I just want to say thanks to the moderators and ThunderSS for putting in the time and energy into keeping the forums real and authentic with “straight from the hip Clint Eastwood style responses and threads.”
