My Thoughts on the Bathmate After 2 Years.

I would encourage you to go with the X30. I am about 7.3 BPEL, and still have plenty of space before maxing out on the X30 or Hercules. (And if you ever DO outgrow X30 or Hercules, you should go out and celebrate with a steak dinner, and be thrilled to have a need to spend more money on a larger device because your cock has grown so large! But trust me, it is most likely that the X30/Hercules size will be plenty for you for a helluva long time, maybe forever.)

In addition to the X30 and the Hercules, I also have the Penomet, which is much larger. When you are standing in the shower, and the device is larger than it needs to be, it is heavier and can lose suction more easily. So there is this advantage to not getting a model that is larger than necessary. This is the disadvantage for me with the Penomet, it is way larger than it needs to be for me, and therefore can be problematic sometimes in maintaining suction.

Also, by the way, I believe that the Hercules model at a lower price is a much better value than the X30, and I have both. The Hercules model actually works better and easier for me because it is simpler, and the modifications on the X30 don’t really improve function all that much, in my opinion. Having to mess with the valves is sometimes more of a nuisance than an advantage sometimes. The extra white collar/sleeve is nice, but not essential.

Another thing is, you don’t necessarily want to go for higher pressure than already available on the Hercules model. I have the X30 model that comes with the pump attachment, and I don’t use this attachment, as I have realized that more time is better than more pressure.

Not everyone will agree with me on this last point that added pressure is not advisable. So, if you have a Hercules model, and you wish to increase pressure, there is a simple trick where you use a device for removing air from wine bottle (“vacu vin” on amazon). This is described on goodlookingloser.com, if you are interested in further detail. But you don’t need to buy the most expensive Bathmate to get the pump, as this is do-able yourself, with a $10 device available on amazon.com. Instead of pulling air out of an open bottle of wine, you place the device on the end of your bathmate, and can then increase pressure little by little as desired.

Since I have three devices, I have some personal experience that may be worth considering, so that you don’t spend money unnecessarily. Most people will not out grow the smaller bathmate until they are somewhere over 8 inches BPEL, I would say.

Hope this helps!

7.6 x 5.4 (goal by April 1, 2016)

Thanks so much zarthustra, your advice was EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for!

I had the same thought about buying the Hercules/X30, that if I outgrew it I’d be so happy it worked, I’d be glad to buy the next size up.

I’ve been saying exactly the same thing. I also have both.

I am around 7” BPEL. In my BM Goliath, at full pressure, I can get close to 8”, sometimes I even hit the 8”.

BPEL: 6.7 > 7.1 > 8.0

EGM: 5.7 > 6.5 > 7.0

My previous EGM goal was 6.5 inches. Now that I reached that in 2016, I set a new goal with 7.0 inches.

Hmm from this page it seems that all sizes would accommodate someone with 5.5 to 6 inch girth, but at least one poster at 5.5 girth said the hercules was too small.

Starting Stats - 5.5 NBPEL x 5.6 EG

Current Stats - 5.7 NBPEL x 6.2 EG

Goal - 7 x 6 (with hopefully a large flaccid hang)

New To This

Ok so here I go.I’ve been using the bath mate for about 2 weeks now, haven’t seen a difference yet but I’ve just started, my routine is quite similar to many here using the BM. From my initial start I make sure I’m cleaned shaved for a proper seal. Afterwards I pump about three to four times to get the feel that I’m all good to go. Now I know the time limit is about 15mins max so for every three mins I get a good pump in (1 time). During the 3 min wait period I do 100 kegels in between for some good flow, so that amounts to about 400 Kegels total by the time the 15 mins is up. After my time is up I leave my penis under pressure for 15 mins in the BM which I find to help. I also let it hang with no support for that extra 15 mins, I feel that I get an extra max blood intake. I’ll see if within 2-3 months I notice good girth gains because that’s all I care about. Oh also forgot to mention that I use a penis ring also to help with max blood intake to the penis. Let me know what you guys think for those of you whose been on this for a while. Is it a good routine thanks. Need to make the wife proud

NBPEL 8 x 5 1/4
Goal: 8 x 6-6 1/2

Not sure what one to buy

My BPEL is 8-8.5 but girth is only 4.5.. I’m not sure what bath mate to get. Goliath has enough length but the girth might be too much for a seal? The rep from the site said to get the x30 until girth increases. Any experience with x30 on guys with 8 inches or longer with not much girth?

I would buy a regular cylinder with more appropriate size and do water pumping (or air pumping, as you like more) with it. I think the bathmate is an overpriced inefficent device. Hardly I see how can you increase the pressure slowly, you can’t pump with air, there isn’t even a gauge if I’m not wrong. So save your money.

Overpriced indeed

I was considering buying another water pump, because here in Brazil the bathmate is 500 $ in our currency, way too much. I wonder if it will be effective, but your words gave me confidence, Marinera lol.

All you need for an effective water pump is the cylinder (35$), polyurethane tube 3/8” OD (10$), plastic shut off valve 3/8” ID (6$), and the female connector to connect the hose to the cylinder (10$ for 2). All supplies can be found on multiple sites online or home depot/ lowes. Don’t waste money on a bathmate.

How do you suggest pumping the water out to create a vacuum seal strong to cause penis expansion?

Your mouth. Read the water pumping thread long vehicle and sparkyx posted on. They explain it perfectly, it works.

Found it, thanks. I am going to give it a try. My first thought when you said mouth is that it wouldn’t lead to very good pressure because it would be tough to get enough vacuum pressure using the mouth to get max expansion of the penis. But what sparkyx mention about going a half inch under BP and keeping that pressure for 30 minutes seems to make sense so I am interested in finding out for myself. Here is the link below to the thread bigtiny was talking about…that way nobody has to go searching for the explanation. It is all in post #1 & #2.

WATER PUMPING > Air Pumping

It’s a very simple setup with the pump I made. You use your mouth to build the vacuum. Using about 1/2 a bottle of water (16.9fl) is all I need in my 2.25” cylinder. I don’t ever draw water enough to get it in my mouth. Going for length or girth with this is 2 totally different things. I go for girth so I create enough vacuum to hit the 7.75” mark then do 200 pc muscle squeezes and let it fall back to 7.50”. When I do that my penis expands out towards the walls of the cylinder vs going up towards the top. After 5 min I draw more water out and go back to the 7.75” mark and an other 200 squeezes. I do this 4-5 times and let it slowly expand to the walls for 45min. Very little lymph build if you don’t try to rush the expansion. I can get up to 1/2” of real inner expansion doing this. You will need to find your own system because everyone responds differently to water pumping.

Hello,

I would like to know the exact dimension of the Hercules/X30 and X40, more specifically the inside diameter. I read so many different stuff that I don ´t know which one to buy..

Here: I m 7,283 BPEL, 5,51 in girth but what makes me hesitate the most is the diameter: I m 1,95 inches, almost 2..

I read that the Hercules/X30 can fit a max diameter of 1,81inches?

Thanks.
