My Ideal Pump

My Ideal Pump

After understanding a pump’s function I feel like a fool paying over 100 bucks for one. For that kind of price it should be getting me off, heating me up, and cleaning itself. Spending the last few days pondering on an upgrade to what I have, I began to realize how inexpensive the components were. Since I’m in NY and everything is within arm’s reach, the total to construct a new pump wouldn’t even crack the $30 barrier I imagine. I mean shit, I can get a new cylinder for $2 (plastic supply store), and since I already have tubes, a donut, and a gun, this seems to be nothing but a good idea to me.

I decided to layout a general idea for what I had in mind and I immediately came across a few question marks. I’d go into detail but since I already drew it up I don’t need to :p As you can see my view is naive. I’d like the help of some engineering minded individuals since I’ve never physically made anything that required tools. The top of the pump is a bit tricky, I added a buffer to keep the cock away from the bulb and included drilled screws for it to be removed as well as the bulb and valve for easy cleaning and convenience. Once I get beyond the buffer part of the deal, I’m not really sure how to proceed. I’d like both parts to connect and detach from one another, but don’t know how to go about it. At least not by simple means. Same deal goes for the heating aspect, this is the featured part of this pump and I’ve given that the least amount of thought lol. I think I consciously attempted to put it out of my mind since I don’t know how I would go about sticking a hot bulb in there either.

Anywho, tell me what you think of the first draft guys, any pointers?..Feel free to add on and have fun with it, completely redesign it if you wish, all that matters to me is that the pump heats internally without risk of burning my pecker and can be opened for easy cleaning.

There are several of us that have been comtemplating about how to apply infrared heat to the penis in a tube. Applying heat to the sides of the penis seems to be the way to go. That way, heat is applied to the corpora cavernosa, where most of the blood is. I’d like to be able to use a column of infrared light on both sides, and a column on the bottom to work on the corpus spongisum. These lights would be on the outside of the tube. There might be a problem with the tube absorbing the infrared. If you’re interested in conduction heat only, then a heating pad is the way to go.

I currently use a heating pad, I keep it between my inner thigh and the pump. The only downside is it doesn’t get hot hot.. just really warm. If it was much hotter though I wouldn’t be able to keep it directly against my skin to get good heat out of it so I still lose. Where do you get these infrared lights? Is there nothing that can be attached inside the tube that will distribute heat uniformly?

We haven’t found a good far infrared light yet. The only thing I know of that would work inside a tube is some type of liquid. Some guys use hot water. There are several intersting threads about IR and heating pads.

I purchased a large heating pad at Wal-Mart for about $25. I wrap it around the cylinder when I pump. It does not touch my thighs. I start out with it on high and usually turn it down after about 10 mins. It works very well. I also use it to apply heat to my penis before I start pumping.

Even if you make your own pump, it will still cost you time. Also, the last thing I would do is put a bulb in your pump. Electricity and your penis should not mix. Plus, it would be tough to design a bulb socket that would be able to withstand a vacuum. Not to mention the fact that the bulb might explode.

I think the better idea is to use a heating pad or lamp if you want heat.
