Mityvac pumps

I was in a Harbor Freight Tools store recently. They carry the pistol grip Mityvac hand pumps that sellers like Boston Pumps charge such outrageous prices for. They have them with their auto stuff and sell them with kits for various repair jobs. They sell the plastic one with gauge in the low twenties. I picked up a steel Silverline with gauge and carrying case on sale for $35.

I”m glad no one asked me any mechanic type questions.

That model is completely rebuildable also. MityVac sells a rebuild kit for something like 10.00.

theres tons of practical appilcations for that kit. I picked up a similar model complete with vac gauges and tubing from a scientific equipment catolog a while back. It’s the best hand trigger and gauge assembly @ 30 bucks.
