I Think Masturbating Is Counter Productive To A Pumper's Regimen.

It may be just me, but i’m realizing that my gains seem to go away quicker if i do anything more than a stretch or penile massage before or after a pump.

Even hours later, if i decide to masturbate after an ejaculation, I feel like all the energy just went out of my penis, and when i wake up the next day, it’s like i never even pumped. I have felt some kind of difference if i end a session and leave my dick alone for the rest of the day.

I started to see gain right away this second month into it, but then my masturbating habits picked up and gains that were hanging around for most of the day are completely gone that day or by next morning. Rarely have i over pumped lately so i’m ruling that out..what do you guys think?

Any kind of insightful feedback is greatly appreciated. I’m just frustrated with the gain/no gain game that seems to be going on here. There must be something that triggers consistent penis growth gains.

My opinion on this issue is: You shouldn’t make yourself a sexual martyr in the name of gains.

First off, it you quit ejaculating altogether hoping for more gain, you may well end up with prostatitis down the road. There is growing evidence that periods of abstinance may contribute to that nasty problem. Been there.

If you are a frequent masturbator (what does “frequent” mean? :-) but you want to keep the pumped, work-out effect for longer, maybe hold off at times when a heavy hang may be most important to you, like when you are out socializing or whatever.

It sounds like you may be new to this - a couple of months? The good news is that most guys report that over time, like months and months, the pumped effects tends to last longer, first a half hour or an hour, then hours, then gradually into the next day. And as that pattern establishes, you may find that although you see an initial size decrease following ejaculation, the pumped effect does tend to return as your “refractory” period ends, and you’re again thicker and longer.

Don’t make a nun out of yourself. This process is supposed to be fun. Make it fun. There are guys here who have extremely active sex lives and still they get gains. The only thing you lose, imo, by having sex or jerking off post work-out is some short-term hang. Think long-term.
