Slide your thumb or finger into the cylinder to break the seal. Then you will slide out just fine!

I have not pumped in a couple of weeks. I took some time off to see if I can coax some new expansion! I will pump tonight for 20 minutes at 4hg.

Well, I let my academic curiosity override my practical applied principal. I often times become the victim of my own experimentation!

I was progressing very well with my pumping and was getting fabulous results; then I got curious, as I often do! I took the two weeks off with no PE. I wanted to see if I could return where I left off and stimulate some interesting growth or expansion after the break.

What I discovered is that I cannot return where I left off at all. Perhaps alot of the result is that I’m only a few months into a pumping career and not as conditioned as someone with years of pumping. They could likely take such a short break without the need to back down and progress slowly back into their routine.

I was pumping around 4hg for 30 minutes per day, cycling some vacuum throughout, when I quit. I started back at 4-5hg for 30 minutes and had little if any expansion on day one. My EQ immediately went to total shit. No morning wood, no intermittent wood, when I had sex with the wife I was lucky to muster 70% erection and then it dissipated quickly.

Day two, I went 4hg for 20 minutes. Little to no expansion, EQ still of course crap.

Day three I went 3-4hg for 10 minutes and had some expansion.

What have we learned here boys? Well, I for one learned that pumping takes alot of gradual conditioning (which I knew, but tested anyway), that when breaking early on in ones career, even for a short while, you must back up and graduate back to your former routine (which I knew, but tested anyway) and finally that EQ is quickly and devastatingly destroyed by over doing your pumping routine (which I knew, but tested anyway)!

The biggest thing I learned (that I knew, but tested anyway) is that I wonder about things too much, I’m too willing to be a guinea pig and that I am a hard headed jackass!

I will start back at 3-4hg for 10 minutes for the next week, then progress to 3-4hg for 15 for a week, then 2 x 10, 2 x 15 etc etc etc.

Much better EQ last night for the old “in/out”. Woke up with about 80% erection this am and have been having intermittent semi’s throughout the morning today.

Yup my friend. I learned this the hard way also. It sucks doesn’t it? Which is why consistency is so damn golden in PE. If one could PE with perfect consistency for 2 years straight, I see no reason why he couldn’t gain 2 inches in length and 1 inch in girth.

I’m glad you keep updated this thread. I have a new lapdist pump. I can see how a person can be “curious” and want to up the pressure. Right now I’m doing an evening twice a week or so, with jelqs afterwards. I rice sock warm up, pump for about 3 minutes at 4+ - hg, followed by jelqing, edging/ballooning and manual stretching. I don’t notice a whole lot of expansion yet. But, based on your story, I will continue at the slow roll.

I did the above routine last night, and woke up this am with really good morning wood. Thanks for keeping us in the loop. (especially because our ages are similar)

I think you can safely up your time in the cylinder. You are not going to notice expansion until you start increasing your time. Eventually you should work up to at least two 15 minute sets per session. Once your reach that total time of 30 minutes of pumping per session, you will really be getting great expansion.

For your next session, I think you can very safely go to two 5 minute sets and then slowly increase the time from there.

As you gain more experience, remember to keep the pressure the same, around 4”hg. Success in pumping does not come from increasing the pressure, it comes from increasing the time.


The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

If I go from 4.5 up to 5.00 in hg, it will lead to a drop in EQ. So for some like me, there can be a very sharp demarkation in what range is productive and what is counter-productive.

So I’m assuming that, when doing sets, a person should jelq and massage for a few minutes in between?

For Lampwick, becoming hung like a donkey was the result of a total commitment.

I find the 4-5hg range is my optimal range. My EQ today was great. I had what I refer to as the swinging 20 most of the day. That being a warm 20% erected 5-6” flaccid throughout most of the day. I will pre-warm soak for 3-5 minutes and pump tonight at 3-4hg for 10-15 minutes.
