I don't know if I picked the right cylinder

Hi to all. It’s the 3rd week I’ve been into pumping. I think it’s great, but I need advise.
I try air pumping and water pumping (always carefull to not ruin the pump) and with the first, it seems to me, I reach better lenght, while with water pumping seems to enlarge in girth most than lenght.

Anyway I need an advise. I buy 1,75x9 cylinder becouse I thought I was over 5 inches in girth. But when I pump I don’t “pack” the cylinder as I expected.
So I’m thinking about taking a 1,5x 9 to pack easily the cylinder and go for lenght.
So I’m asking you, should I buy a new (smaller) cylinder of should I contiune with the larger one. I want both lenght and girth. Can I get both only with the larger one?

PS I never went over 5 hg. When I air pumping even with 3HG I reach the same expansion I get with 5 HG. When I water pump I feel I should go directly to 5HG becouse the pressure is light. What is better for lenght, water or air pumping? Thank you

1.75 is perfect. After a while when you become “conditioned” and begin to pack. It takes 3/4 months. How much time are you in the cylinder? A longer time at a lower vacuum will let you pack. However not enough time and new to pumping will hesitate your packing.

As long as you are getting a good seal at the base, you’re fine. Don’t expect to pack the entire length of the penis in the tube right away.

What is your current routine? How long are your sessions?

Thanks Tenn. I stay in the cylinder for 15-18 minutes.
I don’t know if it is much (time), but I go really slow. (Usually) I do the first pump and wait a minute to make the pressure stabilize. Then another pump and an other minute. With this strategy I reach 3 HG after 8-10 minutes. I stay for 5 minutes a 3HG then slowly go down. Little relase and wait 30 secs. Ect..until I reach 0 HG. So it takes long to reach even a little pressure.

But I think this is the way because when (rarely indeed) I rush I get at 5g quite the same expansion I got at 3hg.
When I water pump I get more base pack. But less lenght (14cm at 3hg). When I air pump I got more lenght (15cm) but less base pack.
(And my measure are NPBL 5, EG 4,8-5).

I don’t have a good schedule. I started with avocet8 routine, but after the first week I quit, because my EQ went down. So nowadays I go random. Some days 2 session of 15 minutes (never went over 5Hg, usually 3Hg) other days one session. Sometimes a day or two of rest. I go with the feel. And I alternate air pumping with water pumping.
So it is exact to say that now I don’t have a routine.

If your EQ is down, you’re doing too much. one way or another. You are either pumping at too much vacuum, for too long, or too frequently. Start with a short session with low vacuum. Try doing it regularly - say, every other day. Take notes about how much you are doing and how your body is reacting. If your EQ is OK, then increase your routine a little, do that regularly for a while, and keep monitoring your EQ.

Yes, this is the right thing to do. Only it’s hard to be consistent.
Anyway I should re-start.
