How can I tell if my cylinder is restricting circulation too much?

Hello all,

As the subject states, I am skeptical if my cylinder is restricting circulation and preventing any growth. I only seem to grow if I enter the cylinder rock hard (which I seem to have an issue achieving lately). If I enter with 80% erection or less, my penis doesn’t really grow much in the tube. I typically spend 15 minutes in the tube at around 5” pressure, then break for a minute or so.

I do know that my cylinder is tight at the base, and I mean TIGHT. I am 5.5” in girth and this cylinder is flanged at the base to a 1.5” diameter, so it’s a little small. Could the cylinder be restricting the veins into the penis, thereby preventing the proper flow of blood (and therefore expansion)? I am not seeing any discoloration, although sometimes I may have felt a little numbness. I am not in the tube long enough to judge if it’s pins and needles or full on numbness, and I’m not going to risk it either.

Feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

I don’t even know how you fit into a 1.5" diameter tube. You should definitely invest in a proper size tube for your girth which is a 2" tube.

The best deal I have found on tubes is at https://www.penisdepot.com where you can buy a 9"X2" rimmed straightwall cylinder for $65 and that price includes shipping.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

Critter never actually mentioned the size of the tube, only that it tapers to 1.5” at the base. The only purpose a taper serves is to make it easier to get a good seal. If you shave or trim around the base of your penis, use plenty of lube at the base, and avoid using a tube that is way too big, there is no need for a taper. It only causes problems like Critter is experiencing. That is why just about everyone recommends straight-wall tubes.

The minimum cylinder base diameter a 5.5” girth will fit in is 1.75” and that will be snug even before engorgement. In my opinion, the 1.5” tapered diameter base of Critter’s tube is tightly constricting his shaft and is most likely preventing his arteries from relaxing and allowing additional blood to flow in. I agree with gprent that a 2” cylinder is in order.

Not many people are aware that some places sell tubes in 1/8” increments. The optimal size for critter would be a 1 7/8” straight-wall tube. A 2” tube would offer more room for growth at the expense of requiring slightly more effort to get a good initial seal. 2” tubes are, of course, much easier to find. It’s been so long now that I don’t even remember where I ordered my 1 7/8” and 2 1/8” tubes.

Heya,

Thank you for the quick responses. The tube is 1.75”, but as mentioned the base tapers down to a 1.5”. When I pull the tube off there always looks likes there is a part of my shaft that was unpumped (near the base) which leads me to believe that I just can get the base of my penis covered. To be fair, I didn’t realize the tube I was buying was tapered so small when I got it (was cheap $12 cylinder I bought online).

I seemed to grow rather quickly in girth when I first bought this tube so I’m wondering if a 2” will be big enough, or I will outgrow it too quickly.

Just don’t go too crazy on the tube size. If you size all the way up to a 2 1/4” tube you’ll not only have a difficult time creating a seal, but risk accidentally vacuuming a nut up into the tube. That’s not a pleasant experience. :)

I am 5” in girth and my tube is 2 1/4”. It has a rubber sleeve, it’s helping me with water pumping. For the nuts i use a buffy hair band around them and never had a nut sucker in.

A 2” tube should last you a very long time. It will take you all the up to 6.25” girth and that much growth takes a lot of time.

LAPump makes an oval cylinder which is larger than the stated size. For example, the 1.75 oval is 1.75” across the short distance and 2” across the long distance such that it “averages” about 1-7/8”. Fit however depends on the shape of your shaft. My 1.5” oval is just slightly smaller than my 1.75” round.
