Homemade Lube

Anyone have any ideas for making a water-based homemade lube that is safe for both the penis and the pumping equipment being used?

Uh, hand lotion or olive oil?

Just buy a tube of J-Lube; it comes in powder form, so you mix it with water to your preferred consistency. The standard tube produces gallons of lube and lasts for ages.

Second irishjim on J-Lube; a little goes a very long way, so you can take just a little bit of the powder, mix it with a very little water, and you get a lube that does a LOT of lubrication and which is easily renewed with a little bit more water if it starts to dry past your desired consistency.

Point being that the standard amount may make gallons and gallons of lube, you don’t have to mix it all up at once. You can mix just the amount you need at any given time.

Doesn’t some lotions mess up your tube.

They can, but they’re probably more likely to mess up the pump than to damage the tube. Specifically, petroleum-based lubes may cause a problem for the gaskets, and vegetable-based lubes (like vegetable oil or olive oil) could gum up the internals. It’s not unusual for some lotions to include petroleum-based components.
