Help needed with Pumping.

Tried pumping for the first time today. Did not go well! I can’t get a vacuum with the cylinder on it’s own at all, no matter how hard I push it into my body. The pump came with sleeves but they don’t fit into the cylinder properly, when I try and fit my dick trough them they are far to tight any way. Can anyone help me out here please? I spent about $120 on this thing!

Have you been through the “differential diagnosis” thread? Have you shaved around the base of your dick? Put lube around the base ot the cylinder?

The pump you paid $120 for is available from amazon for $59.95. Sounds like you need to put pumping on hold until you’ve done your research. Make sure you’re informed enough to not end up hurting yourself.

Is the female connector screwed into the cylinder firmly? The bottom of the cylinder is flared correct? Don’t even use those rubber booties on the cylinder. Let the flare on the cylinder do the sealing. I wish you hadn’t bought that pump, but what the hell, it took me a couple of times to get it right.

Well, for one the pump looks like crap. And any system that comes with rubber booties for the cylinder is no good. Hopefully you will be able to use yours without the booties.

I will give that pump about a month before it stops working, if that isn’t your problem already. If you just hold your finger tightly over the end of the hose, does it pull a vacuum?

Yeah it does pull a vacuum.

Then hopefully the other things that have been recommended will get you up and pumping.

I kind of realised that it was a piece of shit when the rubber things did not fit properly. Will need to do though I ain’t buying another.

Like I said, don’t use them.

You should pick up a Harbor Freight pump as soon as possible. That way when the pump breaks, which it will, you can keep going right away with the same hose and cylinder and a new pump.

Make sure the male connector is pushed tightly into the female connector and, as gprent said, the female connector is screwed in tightly. I have encountered both problems with my equipment. Also check to be sure the male connector has a black O ring near the connector end. I lost an O ring off mine and a little Vaseline worked as a temporary fix. If you press the tube tightly against your stomach, does it create a vacuum when you pump?
