Gravel Vaccum

I will get a proquatics gravel vaccum for my homemade pump. They have 3 sizes small, medium and large. The medium is 10 by 2, the large is like 16 by 2, the small is I can’t rember. I am about 6.7 to 7 bp by 4.5 to 4.7 in girth. Which tube should I get.

I’m not a pumper, but from reading the Avocet8’s pumping 101 thread, I’d go with the medium. This gives you 3 inches of space before you pack the tube length-wise. Do you have a pump already? I read that you could get a mightvac at a auto parts store. Good luck with that.

I would probably start with a 1.75” tube if I were you. But other guys here may tell you to move to a 1.5” so you pack it sooner. Tubes can be pricey so you dont want to move out of it too quickly like I did and found myself spending $90 in my first week of pumping moving up to the next size because I bought my first one too small.

I got the 10X2 myself. I’m new at this but I don’t think there is any realistic reason for a tube that’s 16 inches long. So….I assume the 10X2 would probably serve you well too.

Anyone please correct me if I’m wrong.
