Finally got one!

Today I got the Bathmate X30 at a local shop here, and I’ve been jelqing for a good while now, and ready to step it up. My GF is in full support of P.E. that I do and likes the results. Has any body else had good progress with a Bathmate?

If you search the forum you will find some. The main thing you will need to be wary of is overtraining, as there is no gauge , you’ll need to go by feel.

For the first month start with really low pressure, shorter sets at the tart and try to increase their durations. If you received one of their routine along with the bathmate, I wouldn’t follow it.

Take your time, avoid edema, lymphocele and ruining the quality of your erection.

I hope you made sure you didn’t get a cheap copy from china.

The original bathmate is cheaply made in China. Just because they mark something up a lot, doesn’t make it worth the expense.

Other than that, yeah, without a gauge you need to be super careful, it’s very tempting to go a little further and a little further.

Is it? They say it’s made in the uk. Don’t get me wrong, it is too expensive for the price, but I also know there are copies which are less quality than others.

By the way on amazon I found bathmates which weren’t so expensive and not too cheap either, about 55-70 pounds for hercules or hydromax, I can’t say if they were copies or not.

A lot of companies get away with saying made in a particular country if they do some portion of assembly in that country. I thought they simply claimed to be designed in the UK. The Amazon ones are probably just marked up alibaba ones.

To be clear the bathmate is a silly way to buy a pumping system:

• no gauge - just like the really cheap pumps so getting the same pressure each time is hard and going over pressure is too easy.
• bellows attached to the tube - more to go wrong and harder to replace a part
• little size variation in tubes - so you can size the tube to your penis properly or use two different sized tube in your routine (maybe to work length then girth)

Hey I agree with the points you made (it’s my thread you linked to by the way).
It is overpriced and potentially harmful as there is no gauge, yet some have made nice gains from it and I’m sure now the OP has bought it he can get nice gains from it if he makes sure not to overdo it .

The bathmate is a good tool if you know how to use it.
If you pump to the max right away you are in for severe discoloration.
You have to take it easy and slowly increase the pressure. As there is no gauge you have to make it by feel or check for the scale on the tube.
Its easy to get carried away to get higher on the scale. dont do it and hover at the beginngn around NPBEL or BPEL.
IMO you have to use with other exercises in combination.
Its great to use with warm water to warm up for other exercises and to end with warm or cold water the exercises.
Only do short sets of no more then 10 minutes. The 20 minutes advised by bathmate are too long and will give you discoloration.

Its also OK to use in the shower daily to maintain what you gained.

I think the original Bathmate while overpriced is a sturdy good fabricated tool. Not everything from china is per se bad.
I would say china has meanwhile the ability to do good products that are as good or even better then “western” products.

I have one since many years, it still works, and still use it in the bath and sometimes outside.
But nothing beats a proffessional pump with a gauge. And given the prices a pro pump is the way to go. But no fault if you now have a BM. You can give it to good use!

Well I tried it last night,didn’t go max out. I’ve done pumping before, so I kind of know what feels good and what can hurt. I didn’t get a knockoff one and it worked great with no trouble, warmed up by stretching and then to jelqing. Pumped to where it felt right and set my sets on pumping to that point, release and repump again. I took 15 mins for my workout out, I know its been a long time since i started and not rushing things on results, but any advise I get will be put to good use. thanks

Bathmate Users — how do you manage pressure?

Monitor lymph build up after each session, record the length you reached in the cylinder and decrease this number during your next session if needed.

I have the Bathmate. I use it maybe once a week now. But I can bottom out the base so it can’t squeeze out any more water and I don’t get any blisters. But I wouldn’t do this for more than 4 minutes. Maybe the unit has become conditioned. However, I do not think it is necessary to use anywhere close to max pressure to achieve benefits. Keep this in mind because pumping feels good, the human mind is built for thinking more is better so a perfect setup for injury and overuse.

Finally, if I didn’t already own a Bathmate, I wouldn’t buy it again. Not because it is a bad product. But because all the advice given above about cylinder size, gauges, costs, is spot on. I can see that now. I have a LeLuv with the gauge now. But I purchased the Herc Bathmate before delving into the pumping forum.

Yeah, I think they glue the Chinese bellows to the Chinese tube in the UK. They definitely put it in the box in the UK.

Their marketing practise is much worse than that. They’ve been caught a number of times on this forum opening accounts and pretending to be someone interested in buying a bathmate, looking for advice (this is the best ploy, saying you have one already and extolling the virtues doesn’t work so well). Then there’s this Where Your Bathmate Money Goes which explains their high profile on commercial PE sites and the lack of value for money. Having dealt with their representatives personally I know them to be a slimy bunch.

Haha it is a possibility, but could they use the verbe manufacture if it was only stick two piece of crap together?

One thing I really don’t understand is why there are a hundred sites selling this product and all calling themselves the original one. This is why I wonder if the representative you had on the forum sold legit bathmates or not. Anyway what is an original bathmate and what is not, where is the one and only legit site?!

I reckon I like the sticker on the cylinder.

Most cars manufactured in a particular country are simply assembled from previously manufactured parts.

If you read Where Your Bathmate Money Goes you’ll understand that anyone can set up a site and get paid that commission. That’s their business model. We had contact with the main people because that’s also their business model.

Well even 40 % off these pumps would leave them quite expensive..

Anyway, I’m interested I sent them an email, site is already under construction.
