Everything a pumper needs?

I have been doing a lot of research here on the pumpers forum, and I think I am going to start low pressure water pumping with a good cylinder from LA Pumps, and a brake bleeder pump.

Could you guys help me make sure I am ordering everything I need? I am not sure about hoses and male/female gaskets or whatever.

Here is what I was considering:

Cylinder: 1 1/2" wide mouth width x 9" tall
| LA Pump

Pump: It has a reservoir to catch the water.
Harbor Freight Tools – Quality Tools at Discount Prices Since 1977

Do I need anything else? I am mainly going for girth with the water pumping. I am around 5" at base and around 4.6 Mid shaft. Thanks for the help guys.

First off, you should order a 1.75"X9" cylinder.

You will need clear tubing and a male quick disconnect. Go to McMaster-Carr and order several feet (you may have to order 25 feet) of PN 53955k14 clear plastic tubing and a PN 5012k251 male quick disconnect fitting.

If you don’t want to order that much tubing, you can find it a your local hobby shop or hardware store. The dimensions are:
Outside Dia.- 5/16" (.3125")
Inside Dia.- 3/16" (.1875")
Wall Thickness- 1/16" (.0625")

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

thanks so much gprent.

I read somewhere that I guy with about my same girth packed a 1.5 reg. tube easily, but the 1.5 wide mouth tube was just perfect. So that’s why I was thinking of getting the 1.5 in a wide mouth. You still think the 1.75 would be a better choice? Thanks again,

You are going for girth so get the 1.75”.

Ok will do. Thanks

I use the same set-up for air pumping. However, water could damage the pump. I would disconnect the pump from the 1/4” tube and use your mouth when water pumping. In fact, if you are not air pumping, I wouldn’t bother with the pump. Look on the LAP web site under accessories and they should have male connectors. If not, try PumpToys. You can buy 1/4” tubing at Home Depot or a pet store that sells aquariums for a $1 or $2. 1.75 round might be a better fit because the 1.75 wide actually averages 1.875.

Hey warren thanks. How can I monitor the pressure though without the pump? Monitoring the pressure is really important to me because I’m a newb and I want to stay around 3 Hg. I don’t want to go by feel alone.

I will not try to convince you to not buy a pump, but I think the methodology explained by LV and Sparky in the thread about waterpumping is pretty safe.

It is not about feel, but about BPEL measurements in the tube.

Which thread is it Ren? Thanks

Do an advance search using titles only for water pumping. There are many.

Don`t you read the forum?:)

WATER PUMPING > Air Pumping

There is also one recently by LongVehicle.

Mind you, he is pumping with very high pressure, so you would not want to do that at your level.

How do you pump without a pressure gauge? I own a very nice looking pump but there is no pressure gauge included. There is a measuring ruler printed on the side of the chamber to show you how large you are pumping.. The last time I tried pumping I made the mistake of pumping as large as I could lol.. Had to go to the er with a huge doughnut on the end of my dong the size of a large apricot.. It healed up but I was not a fan of pumping after that.

I guess my question is.. Is there a rule of thumb if there is no pressure gauge involved. IE should I pump up to 3/8 beyond the length of my normal erection if I am looking for size gains or is it absolutely necessary to have a pressure gauge present.

Mine doesn’t have a gauge as well.

I’d recommend to start pumping slowly and be cautious. I go by feel and do 3-4 short sets of 5-6 minutes each. In 2-3 weeks you will much better understand the impact of the pump on your dick, and that’s why it will be much easier for you to avoid over-training.

It is very difficult to pump without a gauge if you want to avoid hurting yourself. Some say you can mark your cylinder at the point of you normal erection and only pump to the point 1/2 inch below that point. Not fool proof though. You can play around with your pump, but never pump beyond the point where you feel the slightest pain. You do not need high pressure to get good results. I start to feel slight pain at about 5hg, but 15-20 minutes at 3-5 hg generates good results for me.
