However I learned two things about myself:

— going longer than 30 minutes is counter productive for me. 45 minutes did indeed require recovery (wow, I just noticed that avocet8 says each nocturnal erection lasts around 30 minutes - interesting)

— if I don’t ejaculate at the end, recovery does not seem to be an issue at all. (However it is important for health to ejaculate several times a week)

I had to experiment and find the “sweet spot.”

Some guys can tolerate and thrive from edging, other guys get way too overstressed by it. It is like you say — you can’t copy someone else’s routine; you have to adapt things and see what works best for you.

(As an aside, one of the great things I have learned from the above is that I don’t need to ejaculate to have a good time. That was a real revelation!)

I wonder this sometimes too about ejaculating. Perhaps that has something to do with the stress. I thought someone had posted a while back on one of those masturbation debate threads, that the tissues begin to contract when ejaculation happens.

If you give yourself too much stress, then you’ll lose those 2-3 hours of maitenance clean up at night. However, if it’s about ejaculation, then I’m not sure. Perhaps it’s time for an experiment.

I also remember all the edging/ballooning talks where it was recommended to get close to ejaculating, but holding it back so that DHT could permeate(sp?) the cells allowing for tissue growth. I have no idea if this works or not, but maybe I should just try and balloon. I played around with it before and got some of the signs that it’s effective. It could be a good way to finish out a pumping session. We’ll see.

While you were pumping and gaining length, did youe penis pump up to a longer length while in the tube? Currently, I am pumping and doing some jelqing and stretching on alternate days. My main focus is length. I have hit a plateau with jelqing, stretching, and ADS so I wanted to try something new. I have also taken deconditioning breaks as well. One thing I have noticed is that I am not getting any longer inside the tube, that I can tell, than my normal erect length. I am getting more girth. However, I also think my skin may need some stretching before I can get anymore length? When I am fully erect my skin is stretched to the max in regards to length. What do you think? Any suggestions?

FYI: I am pumping 3 sets, 5 minutes each, with 5 minutes of jelqing in between. Currently I am not experiencin any negative PIs. I am also using a rice sock to keep the pump and my penis warm.

I’ve never really measured my penis while in the tube. Well, I could tell it was getting bigger, but I really never took any measurements that way.

In fact, I was astonished at what I was gaining, because to me, things weren’t changing that much! I would usually get some expansion and my penis would expand to its maximum, probably. I’ve never tryed very high pressures, so I never got a crazy expansion. At least lengthwise.

About your skin… I suggest you to read TGC theory by Iguana and Remek! Maybe this will help you! First of all, you’ll have to take some new measurements: BPFSL and BPEL. Then, you’ll compare the two of them the way that theory suggests you to. That will give you some idea of how do you need to stretch your skin to get some more length gains, or not.

Your pumping routine sounds pretty fine to me! When I get back to pumping, I will try a more conservative and light routine!
