Does pumping actually contribute to growth?

So as my PE journey continues I’ve come to a point where I’m questioning my methods.

I started with only pumping to get an erection, not for PE, then saw the difference and felt the difference when all pumped up. She likes the results too so I still pump even though I have cialis now.

I’m 2 months into PE now. My wife has been supportive and is taking some part in it with erection help when needed.

I added jelqing then added stretching.

Now I do this
Stretch x 10 30 second sets.
Fowfer x 5 minutes.
Jelq x 200…sometimes flaccid she’s not available to help with erections - erect when she’s home to help out. This is just something I cannot manage on my own.
Pump x 20 minutes
Jelq x 200
Pump x 20 minutes
Tight cockring for 20 - 40 minutes to keep the pumped size as long as possible in hopes of some stretching.

In two months I have gained some.

Soon, I’ll be replacing the cockring session with a clamping session. Until I can get real clamps I’ll just be using the cockring tight with sex without orgasm to get some kind of clamping benefit.

I don’t really care for pumping because it’s uncomforatable. However, if it contributes to gains I’ll continue to do it because in truth, I don’t enjoy any part of PE except the results and the “working together” on this project with my wife. If it doesn’t actually contribute to real permanent gains I’ll stop except for before sex. I do like being bigger when we have sex.

I must brag just a little, today I was almost big enough even without pumping. One thing that we sometimes do that really drives her wild - today she said, “it’s too big, we can’t do that.” Yaay, I’ve got to get a smaller shim - this is an improvement.

OK, the hijack of my own thread is now over. I’m taking it back on topic. Does the pumping actually help with real permanent gains or is it best left as a sexual aid and stick with the manual exercises?

I believe it does. I’m not going to rain on the long lecture why, but I believe it really helps with the combination of other things with it. If you’re doing intense sets though of clamping I would only use very low hg. Other than that I find 6 hg on my off days to be very satisfying. Pumping alone, I don’t think so as much, very little at that. Throwing it in with your routine, if you have the privacy, can only help if done reasonably. I only pump for 10 minutes.

Yes, yes, and yes, in my humble opinion and based on much personal PE success in 5 years via pumping.

I have MS and some of the permanent nerve and brain damage makes me feel like bees are stinging me from bellybutton to toes 24/7. I’ve lived with this for 8 years and my brain has learned to “turn off” the pain so I don’t have to use pain meds. The doc calls it biofeedback, I don’t know anything about that, I just know that I learned how to control it. However, any changes are uncomforatable until I get used to them. Since it’s neurogenic, no meds help…we’ve tried them all. One seizure drug helped a little, but I couldn’t use the bathroom for 3 weeks and had to have an impaction removed…and do self-catheterization a couple of times a day to relieve my bladder. The side effects weren’t the pain relief.

I don’t pump very tight, just a little bit and let it take a long time to grow in the tube, if I try to use high pressure it’s very painful. Two low pressure 20 minutes sessions with a jelqing break in between seem to pump it up nicely. It is getting less unpleasant over time though as I get used to it.

If it actually contributes to progress, I’ll continue to do it.

Sorry about the MS condition. That explains your discomfort with pumping, especially at higher vacuum. I’m glad you are finding a routine that works for you, and it’s great that you have a supportive wife. Good luck to you.

As long as you aren’t seeing any negative signs that are the results of pumping, I think you should stick with it. It sounds like you are experiences positive signs, from the growth you’ve indicated. You should stick with your current routine, if it’s working.

BTW, what could you not do (because you were to big) that normally drives your wife crazy? :mwink:

Nothing much. I’m certainly far from big. We just sometimes get playful and use me and a toy together to fill her up while I get to enjoy being inside her too. Not enough room for both last time. However, she’s been doing VT exercises too. It’s a team effort and we are working towards meeting each other half way.

Sorry to hear about your MS, but I thought I would throw in my 2 cents. My general rule of thumb is that if it doesn’t feel good, don’t do it. The penis is an organ for pleasure and subjecting it to unpleasant stimulation is not a good recipe for encouraging growth. But, since you are finding that low pressure routines are not causing discomfort, I would suggest that you combine a low pressure pump routine followed by putting on a cock ring to hold your expansion for longer periods, including having sex. I think that might work out as a nice combination for you. And to answer your original question, yes, over time, pumping will lead to permanent gains and using a low pressure routine is a good way to go about it.

Girth gains have been the most outstanding results I’ve achieved via pumping. See how your homemade pump works, but if you’re really serious about pumping you may want to eventually invest in a good manufactured product.

Littlehobo, I would deff. stick with pumping at low hg. Although I do not have nearly as much experience as the other pumpers here, I still think it’d be a good idea to keep. I started pumping straight off at 5hg following the pumping 101 thread. After about 2 months or so I tried to incorporate clamping and while this gave me some insane instant expansion it did more bad then good (so said my PE indicators). I stopped both the clamping and pumping and have recently added 10min 4hg pump sessions to the end of my dry jelq’s and it’s worked wonders.

To sum up what I said, just don’t go nuts like I did and I’m sure you’ll have great success, GL!

I think it all depends on what it is that is your limiting factor, ie. tunica, suspensory ligs, etc. when it comes to length. But girthwise over time I think almost any goal is obtainable. I beleive mine is my tunica, and I don’t care how long I pump I don’t think my length will ever increase from pumping.

T-rex - try fulcrum hanging as described here ticktickticker - Best way of hanging, some ideas preferrably using my cotton wrap technique as described in the beginning of that very same thread.

Your tunica will cry - and give up it’s resistance to length grow - I bet

Much respect to you littlehobo. I think pumping can help build girth and some length, especially when combined with jelqing and/or clamping. Keep up the good work and let us know how you are doing with your program.

Thanks doggman. I’ll keep my progress thread updated with the good, the bad, or the ugly…whatever happens. I’m still in the experimenting and learning phase right now. I don’t want to do too much too soon then stop responding. Kind of like when I first started HST with my bodybuilding program. I did it very extreme and packed on 30lbs in 2 months. After that…nothing when I backed off to the real program. That’s why I’m asking lots of questions and trying to learn all I can here first. Don’t want to do too much too soon on this.
