Decent pump

Was looking into pumping and ran across this, it looks like a decent pump but what do I know. I’m still new at PE. Please give me some feedback and if anyone have or use this that would be awesome.

Hey there pokermon919, I have the exact same pump and it is amazing as far as pumps go. If your new to PE don’t think you need to jump in and start pumping.

I take it you are doing manual stretches or the newbie routine? If you research a bit some guys believe (including me) you should do length work before girth work for the fact that less girth means less tissue to deform and heal to gain the length. So read up on some articles for whatever your goal is.

Keep a low pressure and watch to make sure some thing is not going wrong.

Yup I’m going with the newbie routine, maybe a little more then newbie routine but basicly the newbie routine. I was planning to keep it super low pressure, just wanted to see some quick temporary gains. Adding a little pumping can’t hurt my routine can it?

I took a look at it. You could do worse. The pump part is plastic, and those have not proven to be durable, long term. Still, you can think about buying a Harbor Freight pump between now and when it breaks.

One good sign is that it comes in different diameters. That is one thing that distinguishes a decent basic setup from a toy. Take a look at the thread Selecting Your Cylinder Size to help you pick the right size.

Keep your sessions short and the vacuum low as you start out, watch your PIs and EQ, and you’ll do fine. Just try to resist the temptation to overdo. Set your target for time and vacuum before your session, then stick to it, no matter how good it feels or what good expansion you’re seeing.

Thanks Lampwick, I will definitely keep it low until I see good gains from my manual workout or maybe until I hit 4-5 months of pumping.

Thank you everyone for their great input. I ordered the pump today and can’t wait to get it. My girlfriend lives in LA and the next time she comes to visit I hope it will be a pleasant surprise for her. =P

Read this thread Penis Pump help . It’s from when I was shopping around for a pump. The guys here ended up setting me up with a really nice pump for a really good price by buying items from 3 different locations. Thanks again everybody for that and hopefully you can learn from my learning experience :)

Hey Pokermon, I wish you better luck with that model pump than I had. I ordered the same one this January and the handle snapped after 10 sessions, 5 at 10 min. And 5 at 15 min. The pump itself never held a good vacuum, either. I had to pump continuously to keep a vacuum of 3-5 Hg, I guess that’s why it broke so fast. I heartily recommend following Lampwick’s advice to buy a replacement pump sooner rather than later. Having a pump break when you’re really getting into your routine is very discouraging.

I’m having same symptoms you’re having. It doesn’t seem to hold a vacuum that well and have to keep pumping. Did you get a Harbor Freight replacement pump for it?

I have the same pump, it’s a Mityvac. It’s a good pump but like someone said above, it’s plastic and it will break.
I’ve been through 3 handles and 2 piston rods, and 2 springs. I just ordered a metal handle made for the older Silverline cast aluminum model.

I’ve considered the Harbor freight pump, but I still like the lightness of the mityvac. Plus my pump is 32cc which moves more air per stroke. The Harbor freight looks like about 16 cc, same as the standard mityvac.

Hi Pokermon. I’m in Canada so I just went to a local auto parts store and bought a brake bleed kit. Currency exchange rates and customs charges make ordering from the USA more expensive. The Harbor Freight pump sounds like a wicked deal. My new pump is metal, not plastic, and is dream compared to that plastic piece of junk.

Have you been through the vacuum seal troubleshooting threads? The pump may be ok, the problem may be elsewhere. If you detach the hose from the tube, and try pumping with the small opening of the hose pressed to your finger, the pressure should shoot up really fast and hold there. Pressure dropping quickly when you try this means the pump is leaking air back in.
