Cylinder Size...Pumping for Length

You are correct. The vacuum works on the exposed surface area and by far there is more shaft surface area exposed for girth expansion compared to surface area exposed for length expansion. Girth is the primary benefit to be gained from pumping, but there are length benefits too. Perhaps the ratio between the girth to length benefit ranges from 75/25 to 90/10.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

I am currently about 4.7 x 4.75. After a pumping session, I am about 4.75 X 5+. I use the word “about” a lot because with ED it’s difficult to get a consistently good hard erection. I started using an extender in May. When I started, my BP stretched length in the extender was about 5.25, Today, it is 6.5. All of the length gains occurred after I started using the extender. I also started hanging in November.

I started with a 1.5” tube which took me more than 4 months before I could fully pack it after a 45 minute session. I now pack it immediately. I than ordered a 1.5” LAP Wide Mouth oval cylinder. I can now pack it up 3/4 of the way after 20 minutes. I am now thinking of moving up to a 1.75 round.

Based on my experience, I feel that the pump and extender compliment each other very well. The extender works well for length and is helped by the pump. The pump works well for girth and is helped by the extender,

Nice info man! I had an extender and then it broke. I need to get a new one!

On average, how long per day do you use your extender? Which one do you have?

Started: 6.75" BPEL, 8" (20 cm) BPFSL (1/2015) x 5" (12.5 cm) EG; Current (7/2017): 8" (20 cm) BPEL, 8.2" (20.5 cm) BPFSL x 5.8" (14.5 cm) EG; Gains (7/2017): 1.25" (3.125 cm) EL, 0.2" (0.5 cm) BPFSL x 0.8" (2 cm) EG

Short-term goal: 8.25 (20.625 cm) BPEL, 8.3" (20.75 cm) BPFSL x 6" (15 cm) EG; Long-term goal: 9" (22.5 cm) BPEL x 6" EG

gprent: Your post is absolutely correct and in sinc with my too, too, physics tech post (post 11). If you “pack” you eliminate the greater value of pumping, that is, for girth because you have eliminated all that potential area for expansion. Why do many not see that?

I average about 4.5 hours a day in an X4Lab.

Do you like the X4? Did you consider other models?

4+ hours - very impressive! Is that 7 days per week?

I usually take a rest break once a week or so. At the risk of being criticized by other users, I will mention that I do about 2 hours at night while in bed. I am older (68) so I always wake up after 1 - 11/2 hours if I do fall asleep. Caution to others: this is a risky practice and is recommended it not be tried at home without adult supervision.
