ctc question

ctc question

I’m completely new to pumping and ive just received a ctc 2000 electric pump. After reading up on pumping for the last couple of months the popular opinion is that pumping around 5 hg gives the best long term results.Ive tried the ctc for the first time tonight for around 30 mins but after finishing my foreskin is puffed up and my veins are sticking out like flashing beacons!!As far as i can see there is no gauge on the ctc 2000 so how is it best to measure the suction?

I thought you said you had been reading up on pumping. If so, there is no way you would have gone for 30 minutes on your first try.

You have to start out at 5 minutes max, at low pressure and build up your endurance from there. Take it slow. That pump is way more powerful than your cock.

Too bad that expensive ctc200 electric doesn’t have a gauge. I am sure you read about some pumps that did.

Take it easy and start about 10 times more slowly then you have. Increase your time and pressure slowly.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

I hear what you are saying,i just got a bit carried away!Is there any way of fitting a gauge to it?If not i’ll have to buy a cheap pump with a gauge to work out the correct suction power.

If there is a way to fit a gauge to your pump, you are in the best position to figure out how to plumb it in.

As far as buying a cheap pump with a gauge, my LaDist pump went for $140. Not cheap to me. It has worked flawlessly for 2 years.

I don’t know if this would work, but @ www.drjoelkaplan.com they sell just the air pressure gauge for electric pumps for $35.00.

P gauge

I doubt the Kaplan gauge will fit the other pump, you might call and ask. A fellow there by the name DJ is very helpful. Go to their web-site or PM me I’ll give you the phone number. They make a very basic hand pump with gauge for about $90.00 that will fit most tubes. I highly recomend it. Once you get the feel of 5hg with the hand pump you can pretty much tell when you are over it. Never more than 15 mins. in the cylinder at no more than 5-8 hg for newbies. A heating pad wrapped around your tube and lots of massaging in between sets will keep the swelling down. There have been quite a few threads on donut prevention, check out the pumper’s forum, a few of my own. Believe me, I learned the hard way.

gauge

The easiest and cheapest solution is to go to an auto parts store and ask for a vacuum gauge. Its used to measure engine vacuum and costs just a few bucks. The find some tubing and fittings and put it in line with the pump and cylinder.

Also, with the CTC , since it works on a piston principle, the size of the tubing can give different results. The very smallest tubing possible will give the largest pulsation variation because the amount of air for the piston to displace will be smallest.

gprent101,
I don’t know how familar you are with electric pumping w/ a quality pump like the one he got but it is no where near the same as manual pumping and 30 mins on your first time is not excessive at all if he kept the pressure down. Not all the same rules apply. I’m not saying it isn’t good to be cautious, I’m just saying that with the proper amount of pressure the long sessions are not as dangerous as they are when you manually pump.

Thanks for the info guys, much appreciated

It seems that no matter how low the pressure is i still get fluid build up.I am uncut and all the fuid is in the foreskin.I’m wondering if anyone can suggest anything or point me in the right direction.Ive tried wrapping the area but after pumping it distorts the shape of my penis.
