Condom pumping

I took a peice of thera wrap about an inch longer than my pump and wraped it into a cylidrical shape, making a tube an inch in diameter. I left it open at both ends and glued it that way with some poxy. I then inserted it into the tube wraping the base of the tube around the base of the pump like you would a Jel-lee donut/gasket. (Hope I havent lost anyone, it’s hard to explain) Basicly I made a thick open ended condom.

Anyhow I didn’t expect it do work, but…Damn! Better than the condom pumping, as I was able to get more aggressive with the session. I still had a bit of a donut but, NO RED SPOTS! Two days later I still have that “heavy cock” feeling. If nothing else I think I have concluded in my own mind as most of you have that…Having some sort of wrap makes for a better, longer lasting pump with limited side effects!

Pump on bros!

How much of your penis was wrapped by this band? Are you suggesting that wrapping the whole shaft with something is even better than just the glans to the circumcision scar or using one or two condoms? I think
I understand intuitively, but I want to be sure.

Yes. It covers the whole penis. It would be better with the top covered but I was unable to do this. Having the shaft exposed causes redness on me, so tht’s why I chose to cover the whole shaft. I can still pack my tube with it on too.

Hi Pumpers,

In an earlier post:

MrTips - Condom pumping

I outlined the backround of, and test parameters for pumping with a stallion cock cushion to approximate the conditions of pumping wearing a cock ring. As a follow on test, this morning I duplicated the cock cushion test except I wore a 1.6-inch Diam cock ring. This stretches to about 1.8 inch Diam based on my erect girth of 5.6 inch. Here are the results/observations:

1) Engorgement - As with the cock cushion pumping at 4-5 Inch Hg and no wrap at the glans, I did not observe any appreciable “donut” effect up till 15 minutes elapsed time in the tube.

2) Extended time - At the 20 minute mark I noticed a modest circle of engorgement forming just in back of the corona of perhaps 120 deg radial arc across the top portion of the circ scar. Interesting: normally I am more vulnerable to “donut” in the area under side of the glans.

3) Displacement - I was able to get the cock ring tighter to the body. Even so, it walked up the tube about 1/2 inch during the course of the test as the penis elongated and all of the effected tissues expanded. I continued to pack more of the tube both below the cock ring to the base of the tube and some distance above the cock ring. I am now packing this new tube about 20%.

4) Furrow Effect - Once I had exited the tube and removed the cock ring, I had a very prominent furrow the entire circumference of the penis where the cock ring was in contact.

5) Handling Swelling/Deformation Effects - after performing 100 dry jelqs of moderate intensity both the engorgement in back of the glans and the “cock ring furrow” disappeared.

Conclusions/Inferences:

1) I could pump in 10-15 minute intervals at <= 5 inch Hg wearing a cock ring with no adverse effects other than the “furrow” caused by tissue deformation at the contact site of the cock ring.

2) Intensity Index (a speculation on my part) - I think sensible pumping is about learning and applying (for the individual pumper) the correct intensity where an index of intensity is approximated by vacuum setting times the cumulative amount of time (in minutes each day) in the tube. Experienced pumpers like A8 and peforeal obviously have well-conditioned units yet they employ limited vacuum settings and limited times in the tube followed by jelqing to get superior results (JMHO). This allows them to repeat sets within limits dictated by their own particular physiology (again, JMHO).

I believe the acceptable, safe intensity index will increase over time as the pumper becomes more conditioned. I also believe that the safe intensity index (below which a pumper experiences no serious, adverse effects) varies NON-LINEARLY both with vacuum setting and with time. That is, higher and yet higher vacuum levels cause the probability of injury to rise exponentially. Longer times in the tube also raise the probability for injury maybe just as much as increased vacuum. So would repeated sets with short intervals between sets characterized by inadequate massage and/or jelqing to alleviate and re-distribute fluid buildup. In other words, intensity index is non-linearly cumulative with repeated sets.

By limiting lymph flow with a cock cushion or cock ring, one might buy less engorgement and a little bit more time in the tube or a moderately higher vacuum level. Even so, because of other pathways of lymph seepage, time catches up pretty fast. I suspect I had a very minor donut starting at the 10 minute mark. It was moderately discernable at 15 minutes, and very noticabley growing such that I terminated the test at 20 minutes.

Cock Ring versus Wrapping the Glans - at this moment it’s a toss up in terms of ease in getting ready to pump. It takes just about the same time for me to put the cock ring on as it does to wrap the glans. In order to prevent striations from develpong, one would have to move the cock ring around after a few pumping sessions to get rid of the furrow effect or, average it out.

I will plan to repeat this same test tomorrow using the ring from the base of a condom.

Best Regards,

MrTiPS

Avo and LuvRocket,

I think you are right, it’s not a thrombosed vein but a rigid one. No problems since.

10bnice,

That’s pretty innovative with the tehra-tube. Would be nice to see a pic if you can post one.

I have several permanent ones, Tally. Was concerned and had my uro look at them. He knows I pump and do other stuff and said that these are just a part of the increased shaft vascularity I am experiencing and to expect more to develop. Since then, May, two more have appeared on the other side of my shaft and one just under the ridge of my glans. I sort of like the look and they just might be offering more friction when I have sex.

I agree with what you are calling the Intensity Index. Gradual conditioning is everything in pumping (and in PE in general). Peforeal, Gprent, and I harp a lot about overdoing sessions. Although we all have different chemistries and physiognomies there are certain norms which work. The old 3 - 5 HG range was established by sensible pumpers long before I got into it. If a newbie can do 8 HG without ANY damange, good for him but most need to stay at a lower range to get gains and no red spots or bruising.

I’ll be interested to see from your experiment with a condom ring only (sheath cut off) you get a furrow at your base. There just may not be enough constriction from the rubber to dent you like a cock ring will, being tighter. When I’ve used two condoms in tinkering with condom pumping, I invariably get a temporary dent but not with one.

I too have been doing the condom pumping for a couple of months and what I started to do was cut off the condom ring on two condoms so I wouldnt have any furrow at the base of my dick. I then take one of the condoms and cut it at a length to only cover the glans and to a point just below the circ scar. I roll on one condom and then roll on the other one on top of it. This keeps any donut swelling to almost nil for me and virtually no lymph build up on the dick. I also keep my pumping sessions to 10 minutes each of no more than 5 HCg. I normally do 4-5 pumping sessions on the shaft and one ten minute sessions on the balls to stretch the skin, not to increase the ball size or draw fluid into the sac. I have tight nuts especially when I haven’t had sex in a couple of days and I dont masturbate. I dont usually TheraP wrap after my sessions since that seems to keep the excess fluid in my dick and not allow it to drain back.

Anyway I hope this helps someone.

Your are right it will keep the fluid in. I usually wrap after pumping for about 20 minutes or so, then remove ; message and put the wrap back on . Usually ok after that. I have been using the Thera-P for about 7 months now, looks like it is working. Flaccid is looking better.

TEN COMMANDMENTS The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments in a Courthouse? You cannot post "Thou Shalt Not Steal," "Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery" and "Thou Shall Not Lie" in a building full of lawyers, judges and politicians...It creates a hostile work environment.

Pumper for a while got to the square dick 7X7 , hanging now 7-2010

That helped me! So, you have three sections of condom on your penis. One as a collar at the base (a cut-off from one condom), then one as a
hood on the glans down to the circumcision scar, then you have another
complete condom over all of that, right?

I’m gonna have to try to draw that, after you confirm it’s correct or not.

Thanks!

BFLR,

I totally get rid of the “collars” because they bind at the base of my dick and make a furrow. I then put on full condom all the way down the shaft and the other condom gets cut to a length long enough to cover the head, down to a point just below the circ scar.

I like it a lot but using condoms this way gets pricey too.

Ok, by “collar” I didn’t mean the thicker ring at the end of the condom,
rather a 1.5 inch or so section that’s open on both ends and fits at
the base. Would that be more accurate?

We ought to buy stock in condomania.com, where you can get whole
cases of 12 dozen condoms at a good discount. I have been reusing
mine by washing them with soapy warm water. They last a couple days.
I actually keep the whole condom on all the time to help keep my boy
sensitive (since I’m circumcized), and my wife knows about that, so I
don’t have to hide that at least. She still doesn’t know about the pump, though.

Now that I have found Diabetiderm (a foot cream with L-Arginine), I
just lube up with that, put on the condom, and wear it all day (gotta
where underwear in case it slips off). But now I guess I’m getting a
little off-topic.

Practice condoms.

I read through this entire post and ordered a Kaplan pump. :) The whole idea sounds promising for me.

The condom expense had me a little concerned so I did a quick google search for extra thick condoms and found way too many. Anyone find anything more suitable yet?

Thanks, Stretchin’

Hi Pumpers,

This is a recap of this weekend’s activities. On Saturday I ran a quick session using a single, totally intact condom, to see how I would react. By the time 10 minutes rolled around, I could see a small donut starting to form. At 15 minutes I had to pause the test, wrap in back of the glans (over the condom) and then proceeded to clock 20 total minutes with no further engorgement. This observation tends to corroborate 789’s using separate sections of condoms to protect the glans and along the shaft with enough latex in place to negate the furrow effect.

I packed the tube below the condom’s base ring like crazy and got a bit further down the tube (but, the length increase down the tube could be a cumulative effect of several pumping sessions or the added wrap could have contributed - not sure). In any event, the combination of wrap+condom got me a new maximum length down the tube.

On Sunday I used the thin ring at the base of a condom as a “thin” cockring. I was able to get it fairly close to the pubic bone ( or, so I thought). 10 Minutes in the tube and I observed (much as with the cock ring and condom tests) a small donut starting to form. I stopped pumping and started dry jelqs with the mini “condom cock ring” still on. I did 50 dry jelqs, re-seated the condom ring even closer to the body (it had moved up the shaft about 1 inch due to stretch and tissue expansion) and then went back in the tube and pumped for 5 more minutes. The engorgement did not grow too much more during the next 5 minutes but I thought I had enough so I terminated the test. Length down the tube dropped 1/4 inch versus the previous day but I did not use a wrap, either. I did get a distinct furrow from the condom ring just as the day before.

Speculations/conclusions:

1) cock rings, stallion cushions, or condom base rings significantly limit engorgement. I know I can safely pump without excessive fluid buildup behind the glans if I limit my session to 15 minutes or less (10 minutes is probably ideal, again re-confirming A8’s and PEforeal’s approach).

2) I do get a furrow at the point of engagement but the furrow with the cushion is less in its depth (larger surface area) but much larger in its total size (cushion is much wider ~ 1 inch in axial direction). A cock ring leaves a medium depth groove and a condom ring leaves a DEEP groove or furrow. I guess I need to quit slacking on my PE and build up some calluses near the base so as to limit “furrows” and grooves (LOL).

3) I sensed that with the intact condom (even though I got a fairly deep furrow at the base ring), I got less engorgement above the condom ring and along the entire length of the shaft - and, I got fierce packing near the base between the tube collar and the base of the condom. Even so, it appears that 10-15 minutes is all I could take in tube time before engorgement in back of the glans became noticable.

Summary - 10-15 minutes in the tube at <=5 inch Hg is about the maximum for me for all tests (cock cushion, cock ring, condom, or condom ring). All tests caused significant furrows. All tests benefit from dry jelqs either for a short time in the middle of a pumping session and certainly after a session in the tube to limit fluid buildup and retention. More latex (from condoms or whatever) is needed at strategic locations to optimize pumping time versus engorgement potential as follows:

1) Enough resistance (more latex) near the base of the penis to constrict blood flow out but no so much as to generate a furrow;

2) Moderate resistance along the shaft (adequate latex) to limit fluid buildup along the shaft;

3) Significant resistance in back of the glans (much more latex) to protect the circ scar and negate donut effects.

In other words, a latex sleeve with a custom thickness profile to match the aforemention 3 zones of resistance along the length of the penis would be ideal. Such a sleeve would limit fluid buildup in all zones and, as the middle zone is thinner, it would stretch to accomodate increases in the length of the penis as it would grow down the tube. The profiled resistance should allow longer tube times (if so desired) with limited fluid buildup (very desired) and no furrows (also, very desired). And, such a sleeve could be washed and re-used over and over again (very desired) as condoms ARE expensive.

I guess I had better get busy making some molds and buy some latex and catalyst.

Hope this Helps,

MrTiPS

Thanks for that assessment, MrT. We love a scientific mind.

For me, penissmith’s method works best. If I use two condoms rolled down so that the ring of one rests against the ring of the other, next to it I get the effect of a snug-fitting cock ring. Later there is an indentation at the base but it pretty quickly disappears. I did three short (6 - 8 min.) pump sets using two tight condoms on Friday, early in the day. At the end of the day much of that post-pump engorgement was still there - more than I would have without having done the condom pump.

The only thing I do not like about this method is that I cannot effectively jelk between sets with the condoms on. Taking them off works of course, but then you have the hassle of getting them back on for the next pump set. Even for science I am not into using 6 condoms per pump session. :(
