It was just one of my many experiments, actually I use a built up lip, which acts as a cock ring. I didn’t really stick with it too long, moved on to clamped bends with some pumping.

As I said, I think guys that pack the base are getting the same effect. It acts as a constrictor and increases the ridgitiy of the erection and allows a high net internal pressure from less vacuum. I start getting red spots at 2 in hg with it, where without I have to go to 3 in hg or more to see the red spots.

The thing you always have to remember, its not the method of force that matters…any PE method CAN work, its finding the right force/time to recovery ratio that will determine success.

That was an interesting fact Avocet that I never heard from you before that it was 5 months until you started to see gains? Very important bit of info…I’ll have to digest that one!

Avocet, did you stick to the same routine for five months? Or after 3 months of not gaining did you change anything?

I would also like to get some opinions on fluid build up. Do you think fluid build is always the result of to much force? I get a little build up even with short sets with low pressure. It dissipates within an hour. I would like to avoid any build up all together.

I used to use a cock ring with my pump, but after a while, I didn’t like it too much. I used to also wear a cock ring for sex and eventually (over a few weeks), my penis didn’t get 100% hard (except when I wore it). That is why I’ll cycle it. I’ll use it one week, then the next, I won’t.

I did only pumping for the first five months. I didn’t know about this site or all the various manual excercises you can combine with pumping, so yes, the same routine but I was doing it 6 days on and 1 day off then.

I’ve only got a doughnut once, and I know it was because I got silly and went too high on the HG pressure. Did some research on that and learned that the more often you create a doughnut, the more you weaken the tissue in that area below the glans and the more likely then it is you’ll get it again. Peforeal has written some good stuff here about various wrapping methods. That info might help you.
