A 31-patient study conducted by the Department of Urology at St Peter’s Hospitals and the Institute of Urology in London investigating the usefulness of pumps to correct the penile curvature associated with Peyronie’s disease found that “There was a clinically and statistically significant improvement in penile length, angle of curvature and pain after 12 weeks of using the vacuum pump”. In this study, subjects with Peyronie’s undertook two ten minute pumping sessions per day for twelve weeks. The additional penis length was an unexpected side effect and not an intended aim of the study, but large enough to be statistically significant.[8]

A google turned up a PDF of the full article. Skimmed it, the device does not have a pressure gauge.

Protocol was insert penis, slowly increase vacuum until penis is erect, hold erection for three minutes. Release vacuum let erection subside. Then pump up to erection again. Rinse and repeat until 10 minute set is done. Do this for ten minutes twice a day.

Interesting; “There was an increase in stretched penile length in 11 patients, with a mean (range) of 0.5 (0.5–1.5) cm (P = 0.029), although there was no change in penile girth or improvement in the waist deformity in the nine patients who presented with a waist deformity.”

Maybe pumping isn´t that much of a girth excercise?

These ppl had 0,5-1,5cm increased length in 12 weeks. With that easy routine. Well, it hits me that going easy is really the way of doing PE. At least for beginners.

There are studies with different results, using VED.

Very interesting paper, since we know it’s difficult for medicine people to accept that the penis is growable’..

Thank you for the information, in particular important for me, because I’m well concerned about Peyronie disease as well as a bit worried about the effect of PE in relation to it.

In this paper, the relation is claimed to be positive.

I think they should have taken it into account for sure, if it isn’t the case, they aren’t scientists at all.
