Can I get some input on tube size?

Can I get some input on tube size?

I recently bought a cheaper pump - without gage - was my first experience pumping, and it got me thinking about pumping more seriously. Without the gage I was using too high a pressure and experienced the donut effect.

So, I’m replacing the cheap pump with a more efficient one. Have looked at the ‘VelSeal’ cylinder range as suggested by Lampwick over in the thread - What pump to buy

You can see them on the web at www.pumptoys.com

Have decided it’s the one I’m going for, with a gaged pump of course.

However, just measured and my current stats are:

Base girth 6.5”
Mid girth 5.75”
End girth - 5”

I have a curve to the left from about half way up the shaft.

There’s a sizing chart over at Zoinkerz, here -
http://www.zoinkerz.com/Sizing/sizingchart.htm

And a chart here on Thunders, here -
Selecting Your Cylinder Size

Being 6.5” girth it appears that I should start with a tube at a diameter of 2.25”.

I haven’t ordered yet and want to make the right purchase, so I’ve been experimenting with acetate sheets (clear paper) rolled to the diameters of 2.25” + 2.50”, as well as 2.00”. I want to see how these tube sizes fit my girth.

I’ve read that if a tube is too large the penis can develop uneven, ie different tissues expand at different rates.

It so happens the cheap pumping kit I was using was 2.5” - there was quite a lot of space.

So here’s my question…

My initial goal is to not only lengthen my unit but straighten it. From what I’ve read a narrower tube is what I should be using, rather than one with lots of extra space. Please correct me if I’m wrong here. One that I can ‘pack’ when pumped.

So from the three sizes I’ve looked at the 2.00” tube appears to be the one that may have the greater effect on my curve, ie when pumped up less place for my curve to go, in other words forcing my unit straight. While doing this I can focus on length at the same time.

But…

If I go for the 2.00” tube - my base girth is greater than the 2.00” tube? At my full erection the tube rests about 1.5 inches from my bone pressed base.

Do you guys think this is OK? I can enter the tube easily at 60% or so erection.

I feel I already have a bigger than average girth so would rather focus on A/ straightening my curve, and, B/ adding length. (My last pumping session saw me with a fully pumped length of 7.5”)

But pumping with the 2.00” tube will mean The first 1.5 inches or so of my shaft will actually be limited at a circumference less that my normal erection, while at the same time the rest of my unit being expanded more than at the normal state, ie both straighter AND longer.

Sorry for the long post, but I trying to get you guys to see my ‘problem’.

On saying the above I’m also buying the 2.25” tube - which will be to ‘step up’ into after some progress. (But if I start with this size I’m not sure the straightening effect would be the same).

Do you think the 2.00” tube will be a waste of money, or will it have definite straightening and lengthening benefits?

I do have a erection with a noticable broad base - with narrowing taper. Would love to have a more uniformed look.

Hopefully you can give me some feedback and advice.

Thanks.

I would start off with the 2.25” and see how it goes. I am not convinced of the straightening power of just holding your penis in a straightened state anyways. I also don’t like staying packed in a cylinder for very long periods of time because I was prone to get water blisters on the head that way.

Most guys try to straighten by jelqing opposite he bend so you can crank in a lot more opposite bend with your hands, more so then just holding it straight.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

Thanks, gprent, makes sense.

I’ve never experienced water blisters and don’t want to.

As a newbie, if I were to start pumping incorrectly and get these, would that then make me prone to water blisters from then on?

Also, any more advice on my original question much appreciated.

Thanks again.

I second gprent. Go with the 2.25” cylinder. Don’t waste your money on a cylinder where you are already bigger erect than its diameter. Use manual exercises (jelq, stretch) to straighten up your curve.

There is utility value to that kind of shape. I am broader at the base. As you penetrate more, you also increase the girth you are delivering, so you can cause more or less ‘stretch’ depending on your partner’s reaction.

For Lampwick, becoming hung like a donkey was the result of a total commitment.

Thanks for the reply. I have already ordered the two sizes. Decided the money spent was worth the experiment. (And I reckon the 2.5” is way two large for packing).

The 2.00” is only a tight fit at the base, probably 2 thirds to 3 quarters of my length will be expanded when I use it. And I initially want to see if I can focus on length while forcing my unit more ‘straight’.

I’m still going to do jelq exercises against the curve as this no doubt will work on the shorter side. I’m just interested in seeing what happens when I pump in the narrower tube - for extra focus on lengthening whilst being forced straight. If this evens up the overall form, it’s a bonus.

I’m going to take accurate measurements and photos before starting my new routine. Even planning to take a life cast of my erection for a comparison later!

Any suggestions on a routine for a pumping newbie for:

Pumping as well as incorporating an ADS - throughout the week.
I would like to create a routine using both while avoiding over training.

Cheers!

PS, please don’t think I’m rejecting your advise by going with the 2.00” - I want to experiment, and realise being unique individuals we all most likely could react differently to different techniques.
