Buying Cylinders in UK

Although these items are in pristine condition and disinfected, I appreciate the sensitivities around hygiene in such matters, so i fully understand if people don’t want to go down the pre-owned route.

Why does the cylinder make a difference? It’s just a plastic tube isn’t it? Or do cheap ones crack after a while?

1st Jun 07: EL: 6.0 inches. BPEL: 6.5 inches

1st Aug 08: 7" with the V-pump!

7"would be heaven, 8"would be great, 9" would be damn fine!

It’s a matter of comfort, and quality. I’ve had my current thickwall acrylic cylinder for over 10 years now: the cheap porno-shop ones didn’t last too long.

I know this is not the review section but I think this comment is appropriate here, I ordered a female coupler from https://www.thickwall.co.uk who are based here in London, their service was good and they provided a good deal. Thanks for recommending them Seahorse and GPrent.

hi guys, I just bought a pump from body images. but I cant figure out the gauge on the minivac hand pump. the “Hg reads from 0 to -30 and the needle rest on -5 even when the pump is disconnected. So for a 5hg reading what should I aim for on the gauge?

Anyone else who has this gauge please chime in.

Posted this in another thread. It looks like this company does international shipping. Prices seem very good too.

I found this today while searching eBay. Seems like a good source to get cylinders and pumps cheap. They claim to work with all Boston Pump products too.
Looks like they have a (Harbor Freight)MI-TY pump and cylinder package for under 70 dollars. Here is their non eBay website.

Thought it would help save some people money, as I just shelled out 55 for a Boston pump cylinder. I will be ordering a 1.75 from them this week to compare to my Boston unit.

Hi 7of9!

Sorry to be long in replying. But it should go back to zero. (I have a body images pumps) So I would suggest you contact BI them and request an exchange or repair. It is possible, the indicator has been set wrongly and should be adjusted. Or for some reason the guage has stuck which might mean you are using an incorrect vacuum. which could be dangerous.

PS You would have been better off starting a thread on the subject as members wouldn’t necessarilly be looking again if the main subject didn’t have too much interest for them, and the original question may have been answered.

This is not a criticism Just a bit of help! :)
