Buying a pump- everything needed

Buying a pump- everything needed

After a break in PEing I have decided to start again, mainly for better EQ. I will buy a pump for this, and just want to make sure I have everything needed.

1. Pump- Brake Bleeder and Vacuum Pump Kit
-has the price gone up? I thought it used to be cheaper

2. 1.75 Cylinder (around 5" base girth, around 5.1 mid girth) Welcome to lapdist.com

3. Quick-Disconnect Tube Couplings McMaster-Carr

Is this it? Do I also need to buy tubing? I searched for around an hour but I am not 100% sure, so just making sure before I buy this.

The Harbor freight pump comes with tubing.

I clicked the mcmaster url you supplied, however the result is a blank page ??

This is the same set-up I am using. I was able to pull up the McMaster web site and that is the correct coupling.

Correct price for pump, but you can some times get an in-store coupon to buy at $16 or $17. I’ve seen them in auto magazines.

Also from Mcmaster, buy about 3 feet of PN 53955K14 clear plastic tubing. It is much better then the tubing that comes with the pump.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

Doh, the minimum you can order from that website is 25 feet, which would be about 15 dollars. Is this necessary, and how easy is it to connect it with the cylinder/pump?

In the good old days they didn’t make you have to order so much. Oh well, just go to your local hobby shop or hardware store and get clear plastic tubing with these dimensions:

Outside Dia. 5/16” (.3125”)
Inside Dia. 3/16” (.1875”)
Wall Thickness 1/16” (.0625”)

Will do, so I will get all this without the plastic tubing for now. Thanks for the quick replies fellas, and hopefully this thread can help others that were not sure about this.

What is really sad, is comparing the price of the coupling from McMaster and Pumptoys, and also the price of the pumps .

I can understand a slight mark up, but when the difference is four or five hundred percent, well, that is just wrong !

Oh, and I know, Caveat Emptor and all .

I have been using the pump tubing for six+ months and it seems to be working just fine. It’s designed to handle industrial fluids, so it should last for a while on air.

I ordered those couplings based on your suggestion, but they are not the right size - not wide enough for the tubing, although the connector is fine.

You can get vinyl tubing from “big box” hardware stores like Lowes or Home Depot, or from agricultural stores like Tractor Supply Co.

While the quick connects are nifty, the only thing they’re giving you is the ability to disconnect and walk around until air leakage becomes an issue. I have two pumps and three tubes, some of which used to have quick connects. They all have barbs now, and I just pull the hose off and move it to whatever tube I’m using.
