Buy a pump or make my own?

Just wondering what you guy think. Which would be the most effective or are some of the homemade versions here just as good as anyone you could buy? If there is a certain homemade version here whether its electric or manual, which is the best and has produced the best results? Thanks guys!

I would love to know as well. The pricing at lapdist seems a bit ridiculous. However, I am a noob, and very busy with work and studies to spare time to figure out and make a good homemade one. Plus, getting parts such as these in Hong Kong is a bugger. I wonder if anyone here is willing to make custom pumps and sell them at better rates than lapdist. I would be happy to purchase a product that is functional out of the box.

I just went to Auto Zone to get my Mityvac and Petsmart for my Gravel cylinder. I havent gotten a chance to put it together yet but I’ll give it a shot later on. Looks like the tip on top of the cylinder is larger than the clear tube that comes with the Mityvac pump. Did any of you guys have trouble getting it to fit or what customizing did you have to do?
