Bruise do not want to go away

Dear All,

I start pumping last year on August, I had a some problems on december: after one week stop I start pumping at high pressure (for me) 6-7 hg. I have got a bruise at the base (on the left side) of my penis. Since I have really difficulties to heal: I heal then I restart at very low presuure 2.5 hg, after two weeks I rebruise. I have tried many kind of cream (emu oil, vitamin K cream, arnica gel) and no improvement. When I use Arnica gel it seems that I react too strongly and the I have some Ithcing and the bruise area increase (do any of you experiment the same reaction ?) and redness. Do any of you can give me some tips ? I hope one day I will be able to restart pumping. Hopefully I have bo problem with my erection…..
Many thanks for your advices.
Daniel

First off, there are two important factors in pumping, time and pressure. You have told us what pressure you were using, but how much time were you spending in the pump?

Is the bruise at the base a result of where the cylinder contacts the skin? If so, what is the configuration of your cylinder? Is it an LA cylinder with a flange at the base, or a straight walled thick cylinder, or one of the inexpensive models with a rubber gasket at the base?

If you are getting a bad reaction from the Arnica gel, stop using it. Maybe try just a medicated powder like Gold Bond to keep the area dry and itch free.

Thank you gprent for your answer. In fact I never spent so much time 10-15 min max 3to4x. I have a pump from Vacotec (expensive one) with a flange at the base 2”. Yersteday I have bought an arnica cream (and not gel) with less alcohol it seems working, I do not react negatively. Once the redness will disapear I will wait 2 weeks before restarting pumping what do you think ?. It seems I do not support high vacuum higher than 4 hg without red spotting or bruising even with a 3x 10min. Once healed I will restart slowly and try to keep a secure schedule.

Daniel:

Are you on a high dose of Vitamine E? E is somewhat of a blood thinner and does retard bruise healing or can even increases the bruise. A bruise is a capillary or small vein that has brust. It take a while for them to heal eventhough the redness or bruise has dissappeared. The vein must heal. You could be starting back a little too soon. If it happens again in the same place, give yourself a little longer time to recover. Are you doing any other exercises that would exasperate the injury such as stretching or hanging? Steve

Tenn…….i am taking some fish oil…flax oil that has lot of vitamin E…..I have to stop every thing for a while even masturbating seems to reactivate the bruise.

any way I hope it will heal definetly and restart to pump.

cheers

I think you are right (“at high pressure (for me) 6-7hg”). This may be the explanation for your injury. Think about staying off the tube for a long period, perhaps a month, until the tissues rebuild and completely heal. Then start pumping always at 5 hg or less.

Yup, don’t even masturbate.

And read the Forum Guidelines (punctuation, capitalization, etc..).:)

….. Since I have really difficulties to heal…….

Are you by any chance diabetic?

The guys are right, stop everything until it is healed, then pump at a lower hg.

sunny A day without sunshine is like a day without laughter :sun:

Thanks you all for your advices….

I think I am not diabetic

I had a bruice at the very base, right side of my unit.

I got it while doing wet jelqing.

I was taking fish oil capsule, vitamin E and Gingko Biloba(and many other herbs).

I stoped taking Gingko Biloba and it healed fast.

Thank you KbVK to share your experience….it takes how much time to heal your bruise???

Is it a bruise or discoloration? Because it will get discolored and there isn’t anything you can do about that. A bruise denotes soreness, if it’s not sore it’s just discolored. And discoloration is one of the bad things about pumping.

Be sure to warmup properly, I use to half way fill my pump with hot water and pump with the water in the cylinder.

In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king.

I’m confused between bruise and discoloration.

Anyways, mine was a small skin break resulted from my wet jelq.

When I got it for the first time I took 3 days off. It seemed like healed but broke again. Again I took 4/5 days off. It repeated.

I cycled gingko biloba off(after some internet research about it) and took 4/5 days off. It healed completely and I don’t get it any more.

However, Gingko and L-A are good combo for errections and I’m planning to reduce its dose and cycle off depending on how I feel about it.
