Bringing a pump on vacation!!

Hey guys what do you think of the idea of bringing a pump on vacation?? You know to be at max size :D :D What are the chances of it getting uncovered at the airport or whatever, a la Austin Powers haha.

One good idea I have seen for taking with on vacation is just to take the cylinder and hose and rely on mouth suction for the vacuum.

That’s what I do. ‘Unscrew the valve from the cylinder. Of course, make sure it’s in your checked luggage, not carry-on. I’ve flown all over the US with a cylinder in my luggage and I’ve never been questioned, and I get flagged for thorough searches because I take a lot of one-way flights. I’ve seen TSA stickers on my checked luggage indicating someone might have been through my stuff, but no one has ever slowed me down when I’m going through security or baggage claim.

I would just put it in your checked baggage. That way you won’t have to explain anything in public.

In the checked bag, for sure. I’ve never had a problem with pump and tube in a checked bag. I did get pulled out when I foolishly put both in my carrry-on.

When I travel by myself, I always take my cylinder, hose and use mouth suction power, just like GPRENT suggested. And I always put my gear in the checked luggage. Never had any problems.

I’d never put a pump in any luggage, what if they think its a gun of something?
I’m of the opinion that its a bad thing.

Enjoy the holiday forget the PE for a while.

Just take the cylinder and hose, leave the pump home (mouth suction for the vacuum). Put the gum tube in the checked luggage and and toothpaste and toothbrush in the tube, right in your beauty case. Nobody can tell an 8” or 9” Kaplan cylinder is not a perfect protection for your teeth stuff. I have done it for years and nobody ever noticed anything strange with it.

Bringing along a jelqing device is a lot easier.
