Beware of Vacu-Tech Privacy!!!

I just ordered a vacuum pump and elliptical cylinder from Vacu Tech. It was supposed to be delivered today and I had a ticket in my mailbox stating that I wasn’t present so they’ll deliver it tomorrow. No Problem! BUT! The “Sender’s Name” on the ticket was “Vacu-Tech”! So much for privacy! Even if the box did not have the name of the company on it, the Post Office shouldn’t have knowledge of the “Sender”. I am really peeved and wrote Vacu Tech immediately about the situation and I’m waiting for a reply.

You might think- no big deal, BUT I KNOW all the employees at the Post Office and they know me. WTF? Now all they have to do is “Google” Vacu-Tech” and they’ll know what’s in the box and why I’m buying from them! I am soooooo fucking pissed right now!!! AND also embarrassed!!!

I ordered from Vacu-Tech because they’ve been in business for decades and they seemed to be a very professional company. But I feel that they didn’t respect my privacy. If you order from Vacu-Tech take into consideration that they may not value your privacy.

Even if the post office guys were so ambitious to actually take the time to Google Vacu-Tech, which I seriously doubt, the worst that would come out of it would be guys asking how well it worked before they bought a pump for themselves.

I wouldn’t stress about it. They go through thousands of pieces of mail everyday and write those tickets without a second thought. If it had said Penis Enlarger and not Vacu-Tech…it may have caught their attention. They probably think it is a piece for a vacuum cleaner. :)

Thanks, but the driver and the postmaster are women… I guess they wouldn’t think about googling it… But I’m still po’ed… Vacu-Tech needs to be more careful. Their shipping and privacy notice states that domestic orders are shipped in plain boxes and ONLY return address with NO NAME. Thanks for the reassurance, however…

That’s funny. I bought one from them last week and it was shipped in a plain box with no sender or the word “vacu-tech” anywhere on the box.

Not only that, I was not there to receive the package, but it was left at my door anyways.

I have to agree with this guy. I would pissed beyond belief.

I just received a letter of apology from Vacu-Tech’s president and they refunded the cost of shipping (I had express shipping). They said that on September 1st, there was an “update” to their shipping software and the shipping address information defaulted to having the name “Vacu-Tech” printed on the return shipping label. He said that they fixed it and the name no longer appears. All the orders shipped on September 1st had the same issue. I wonder if anyone else noticed or complained??? He seemed apologetic, but jeez… I KNOW the people at the post office and the delivery woman… I hope they weren’t “nosey” enough to google it… Oh, well… I’ll have to chaulk it up to karma… somehow, someway I deserve it… it still hurts the ego… If it gives me some girth and a little length, it will be worth it…

It was good of them to apologize, and to refund the cost of shipping.

Now the trick is to send yourself (complete with an official looking enclosure and mailing label), a package from “Penis Reduction Systems, Inc”. All those nosy women will be giggling when they see you, but it will be a good thing!

Lampwick, no… not the delivery woman, but the woman inside the post-office is very attractive and petite- nice ass beautiful blonde. I’m happy they refunded, not just because of the money, but on principle it was the right thing to do. Perhaps they will be more vigilant when new software updates are downloaded from now on.

There are literally hundreds of devices using vacuum in their title - from cleaners to laboratory items.

I would doubt that they gave a second glance at the name anyway

I’ve had a couple of nightmare deliveries after purchasing from companies that claimed to value customers’ privacy.

The worst was in college, when I had to pick up a package from a *classmate* who was running the mailroom in my dorm, and the company had put the fucking PACKING SLIP visible on the outside of the box, under some clear tape. The contents of that particular box (listed in big bold print on that slip) included a vibrator, butt plugs, bondage tape, and a big-ass dildo that my girlfriend had requested. If companies like Amazon don’t advertise the contents of a package on the outside, why the hell would a sex-toy business do so? :wtf: It still infuriates me looking back on it :cuss:
