Hmm. Strange. Max pressure 20 minutes per day is probably a bit to much for a newbie.

You think? ;)

I tried it and my eq went to hell. Thank god for Thunder’s! Now I understand what pumping is all about.

Simple Bathmate Pressure Indicator.

Old thread, and the OP a “Former Member”, but will add this comment for some thought.

Some sort of basic pressure indication would be possible with marks on the insert tub.
Mentioned this in another thread.
I know on the X20 I bought recently, which has the long inner tube, you can judge the pressure by the amount of the tube that is visible above the outer tube.

Not sure about the bigger models, as the Long insert is sold as an option.

I did measure this “tube showing” Vs Pressure in the other post.

This is the bit I’m refering to:-

Cheers.

I suspect the overwhelming yes votes to bath-mate needing a gauge are from fellas who have never even had their penis inside one. I’ve been a regular user now for over a month, using it every day with the exception of rest days. This is just my own personal experience, but I have yet to be able to pump a huge amount of pressure from the pump. From my personal experience, just about the time I’m feeling that I’m just at the right “pump”, the bellows on the device is completely collapsed, making it impossible to pump any further. I’ve yet to incur any injuries. I have tried to go too long, which caused just a little bit of lymph at the bottom of my glans. But that was time, not pressure. So far I’ve followed the manufacturers instructions of 15 minutes. It’s helped me break over a plateau, and has helped gain more length and girth as a supplement to my manual routine. I guess if you’re use to using a pump that was designed to bleed air out of the breaks of a Semi-truck, then yes, a gauge is probably a necessity, but the water pump doesn’t work the same way, nor does it cause the same physiological effects that an air pump does.

I like it needs a gauge yes but I’ve been pumping for over a year now with both an air pump with a gauge and the bathmate and I can feel where I’m at.

Guys, I’m using daily Bathmate Hercules for 2 months and with jelqing exercises I saw results.

Hi everyone, I’ve been lurking here for years but haven’t joined till recently - this is my first post.

I’ve spent the past five years doing PE on and off, I have a busy life and do a lot of traveling which makes consistency difficult for me, but in spite of all that I’ve made some gains in that time.

I started off at 6.75 BPEL x 5.75 MEG and after a year of stretching/jelqing got up to 7 BPEL with no change in girth. Summer 2012 I bought a Bathmate Goliath and incorporated it into my efforts. I’ve found that (I think) it’s helped me with growing my girth, which is now a solid 6.5. I’m also at almost 8 BPEL.. Which is fantastic!

Regarding the BM Goliath, while a gauge would have been nice, it’s always worked well once I figured out how to use it properly. I was a bit over-enthusiastic when I first started and went way over the 20 minute mark, and my EQ suffered for it. But with time and practice it’s become a fun part of my ever-changing routine. I have had to change out the seal at the bottom of the bellows a couple of times but apart from that it’s been pretty reliable and problem-free.

I really appreciate everyone’s input here and all over TP.. Great site!

Just wanted to share my two cents..
