Bathmate, am I overdoing it?

35yrs old, I use a liquid Cialis low dose daily….I have been pumping for a few months now about 10 - 15min 6 days a week in the shower, I have noticed a bigger flaccid penis but not a heck of a lot when erect. I usually try to get 50% hard when I first go in and ill take it off half way stretch for a few seconds and put it back on for another 5-7minutes. I do go until no more water comes out because I am anxious for results but I am noticing bruising that lasts for a day or so, sometimes a red ring low on my penis. What prompted this message was last night my erection quality with my beautiful fiancée was not good and I did pump pretty hard that morning and was bruised a little so wondering if this was the cause? Any advise would be appreciated, I was hoping for an inch or so in length and a little girth.

I am thinking maybe trying to go in erect and do a lower pressure and not pump until the water stops. Problem is I get up early for work and getting an erection with no stimulation in the shower that early is not easy for me.

I used the Bathmate for roughly a year. If you are having EQ issues in the bedroom or before entering the Bathmate I’d suggest a break. 6 days a week seems excessive. Might want to try a one day on one day off schedule. My goal was always to enter the Bathmate as hard as possible for suction/maximum expansion.

Ok so I’m a little impulsive and compulsive I’m a typical addict. I usually go twice a day in the bathmate depending on if I air pump. I go as hard as possible EQ wise, five to six days a week I DONT however over pump. Your over pumping by going until there’s no water coming out. Go a little less listen to your cock. I also bathmate about an hour before sex with few EQ issues it has happened tho. I would slow down a bit until your completely used to it. Just my two cents. Oh and I’ve been at it almost two years I would say most gains are temporary.

Thanks for the feedback, I did 10 minutes this morning and did not pump as hard and didn’t pump until there was no more water. Not getting the same expansion that I am looking for but maybe I will stick with this for now because I am noticing bruising most days I pump hard and Saturday night erection issues were not fun, not totally sure it was from that but I am thinking it was. Maybe ill try the every other day routine or go down to 5 days a week and not pump so hard. Any other suggestions or tips would be appreciated, I am willing to take it a little slower but I would like to get some gains. Also isn’t pumping supposed to help with EQ quality?

I am not the originator of this thought, but what is the point of getting a bigger dick if it don’t work right?

I have been bathmate pumping 6 days a week for a little over a month now, I push every molecule of water out of mine by the end of the session, but I warm up first. I fill the tube with hot water and just put enough vacuum on it to keep the water in. No erection at all, just for heat like you would a rice sock. I take it off and do a 30 sec fire goat roll. Then I start my session. After the session I restore blood flow by maintaining and erection for 30 seconds or so, then fire goat roll again. I discovered that the rolling helps with all exercises I do. I am in my late 20s. So, not like I’m a spring chicken anymore.

Yes it can help EQ but can also mess with it. That depends on you. Most days I pump and I have great EQ but not every time. I also notice your pumping for 10 mins, that never worked for me. It had to be 15 for some good results. What I do now is (time and privacy depending) I go in as hard as possible pump for 5 or so mins, take it off, jelq, get real hard, back in for 5 or so totaling 15 to 20 min sessions. I should add that I’m either in a hot shower or bath giving myself a warm up before pumping.

I have just been using the bathmate a couple of weeks so I don’t have a lot of feedback to give except what I have experienced in that short time.

First there is no way I am pumping till no water comes out. I don’t feel it is safe and it gives you no baseline to go off of. With out a gauge you are only able to go off measurements and feel.

I have started slow with low to medium pressure for short periods, like 5 minutes. My EQ has been insane , and hard as rock. Best it has been in years.

So I know this is good, and I will add time and a little pressure as I go till that EQ falls off. Once I am there I will back it off what ever caused the drop. I plan on doing a 2 on 1 off schedule.

So I would advise you to drop way down till your EQ is excellent and work your way back up to where you are at a sustainable time and pressure.

Anytime you have issues getting an erection before using the Bathmate I’d say you’re overdoing it. With my experience the harder I was going in the better the expansion. Just my two cents.

Last two days I just did medium pressure for a total of roughly 10 - 12 minutes taking it off for 30 seconds or so only once. My EQ quality was much better last night with my fiancée so hopefully last Saturday was just a freak thing and from over doing it, very scary so I am going to continue using but just take it easy. I probably wont get the growth I was hoping for but if it can help a little then better then nothing cause no way I want EQ issues again!

I think your thought process is off on growth. There has to be a balance between damage and recovery. Ideally you want to do micro damage that repairs very quickly. This will create consecutive micro gains that add up over time. Over time you will have to increase intensity to achieve these micro damages , but you should never try to achieve more than micro damages.
If you go to hard to fast it will actually put your body in a defense mode and prohibit gains.

Thanks again for all the feedback, I will continue on but not full pressure and try to go in hard some days and do just a couple pumps and see how it goes. 5 - 6 days a week 10 - 15 min sessions.

You can’t gain exercising that many days a week. Healing happens on zero PE days. You need full rest days.

Edit:

If you have to ask if you’re overdoing it, you probably are. Just a good rule of thumb I have observed for myself.

Also I noticed just now when taking a leak at work I have some red dots from this mornings session but its not bruised looking like it was Saturday. Is this ok or am I still over doing it? It honestly didn’t feel like I over did it, I went in hard which I don’t always do but im going to try that a few times a week, couple pumps and wasn’t uncomfortable, took off once and did it again 50% hard for a few more minutes total session probably 10 - 12 min….My fiancée is coming over tonight so I better not have EQ issues again (she is moving in next month, closing on my new house this Friday, she’s younger, beautiful and her sex drive is high so I cant have issues lol)
