Has anyone else followed sparyyx advice and had success with it?

This way does seem like you cannot go over board

This morning I woke up with morning wood after taking 2 days off. I think I will wait until the end of the week before I start up again.


Because the water pulls the girth out further than normal, if you pull a vacuum all the way to your EL, it actually is quite a bit more volume total than normal, and in many cases, puts the vacuum level too high.

My approach is to start BELOW your crash level and slowly work up to your crash level, and then note what is ideal for you. I doubt anyone has tried this method, because very few people ever read about it.

Hahah actually I had read your post in the past about what length to use for pumping, before I bought my pump. I do understand what your saying now though, but I still believe I need to read through more posts.

Have you had much success following your strategy?

Lets put it this way, when I DON’T follow that strategy, I end up over training and crashing and burning!

I usually get impatient, and push it further than I should, and end up crashing EQ and size. The trick is to find the ideal amount of in tube length vs bpfsl and stay in that area. Some days you might want to push it a little, and when EQ is starting to get a little low, you might want to back off a bit, but over all once you find the ideal range, stay with it.

Like I said, if you first measure bpfsl each day, it will automatically adjust for you.

Thanks sparkyx for your words of wisdom. When I first started I was around the 16-17 mark. My EQ was ok so that tells me to knock it down just a bit further. I actually recall measuring when I was in the tube when I first got my bathmate and the 16 mark was near enough 6.5”.

Not sure if you had already mentioned this earlier but when I asked about the 0.5” in length missing, is it still expanding at the base but you can’t see it?

I just don’t want a baseball bat affect, but I haven’t done enough research to know if a pump can even do something like that.
