Anyone else try sleeping while pumping?

4 nights ago I fell asleep with my tube on with about 24” of water for pressure. It was late when I went to bed and light out when I got up. My first thoughts were of injury but other than some swelling it wasn’t bad. Thing is that day (but in the evening) I got an erection and it felt great and most of the donut effect was gone… the skin was thicker not just puffy and I could feel the tunica more. Girth was 3/8” bigger I even pulled my skin forward to measure around the shaft with skin that was not ‘thicker’ or puffy like the rest.

Next night I do it again except this time when I wake up I can see the accumulative (maybe 4 hours) effect on the donut area. Still its not bad but I have to back off a bit…

Next 2 nights I drop the vacuum down to 12” of water and sleep through the night (waking up tossing and turning and going back to sleep is all normal for me). I can see the lymph swelling going down and the girth is not as much but its still bigger and erections are harder and faster than usual. Tonight I am going to try 18” in an effort to nail down what for me is the perfect setting! (perfect == no donut swelling unless its that ‘thickened skin’ kind of swelling)

I’m seeking that swolen tunica feeling and larger girth without alot of lymph buildup at least not that puffy kind of lymph. As long as it doesn’t interfear with my sleep too much its 100% not a waste of my time.

FYI: at both 24” and 12” I am not fully extended from the vacuum level. About 2 hours in tho when I am super relaxed the length that pressure will pull me out to increases I think that is when I get the benefit I am seeking. I have also noticed better extension of foreskin when doing foreskin restoration while sleeping. In fact if I pull on the skin as hard as I do during the day I will hurt myself. The relaxed body requires less force!

EDIT: I measure the inches of water with a water lift tube so its literally a measure of the water lift. My pump is a converted aquarium tetra 40 air pump that runs continuously with a ‘controlled leak’.

I will be honest with you mate it will end in tears if you keep doing what your doing.Its an extremely dangerous idea to be doing any form of PE while you are asleep. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.

Wizard was the first, but I doubt he will be the last to tell you it’s a bad idea. But I can understand your desire to use sleep time to pe. I also have considered sleeping pe options. Can’t say pumping was ever one of them though.

I have heard of a sleep pumping experiment conducted. Had a control group and I think was monitored. I spoke with Dave at Pumptoys and he told me about it.

That said, unless you have a crew monitoring you while asleep…sleep PE is risky at best. Catastrophic at worst. As pumps numb you enough you won’t even realize and wake up when truly dire damage is done.

I used to wear an extender at night. It never let me sleep well and I ended up doing a warranty repair when I snapped a piston that nearly stabbed me. Did the Xsleeve at night and nearly got nerve damage.

A pump like what you describe is like…several times more powerful than either of those. Risk is too high. 6 hours of pumping is high risk enough. Much less unconscious.

I recommend against this continued practice.

Like most folks, I wanted an easy solution and effortless time management. Can’t have your cake and eat it, too. Not without getting a cavity.

On the X4 Forum I used to read “Woke up with a purple head and no morning wood, what now?” too much to ever advocate it. I tried it to see if it was even feasible and ended up finding over the course of 7 nights attempted it was almost comfortable once, crappy 5 times and broke on the last night. Didn’t exactly go into detail when i sent the request in and they charged some outrageous shipping price (which I’m sure covered part cost) to do my part replacement. Lesson learned then about using a $500 device that way.

I think Monkeybar actually advises against using his devices while asleep. My month of Xsleeve adventures was extra credit. I tried pretty much every sleeve and weight combination. Edema, coldness, sensitivity issues…despite good EQ and morning wood generally for whatever reason while I would sleep in it. I rated it an overall poor choice series, much like wearing said device to work and printing enough in my pants to be outright indecent. More live and learn.

Fact is…unless whatever device you use exerts almost zero pressure on you…you can’t sleep with it on. I sleep with my ring of power on. That’s it.

What the OP describes is way too much torque for anyone not to be minding that with a watchful eye. It’s almost too much torque to be doing anything else and that at the same time. I game while I pump and personally, despite playing a fast pace team game, I don’t go a whole 15 minutes without checking. And don’t care if I have to get off the keyboard to mind the device.

Sleeping just removes too many safeguards. And we are all pretty much just one or two bad sessions away from injury if we aren’t careful. That’s the nature of the business we are in and I just don’t believe in any extra gambling. I’ll take that lesson from observation; can’t afford to keep taking it from experience.

What are your preferred methods dtwarren1942? Have you ever had any problems or concerns while performing said methods?

I do air pumping and extending with a VacExtender mod kit. I have experienced some glans bruising, but not more sever than while extending during the day.
