Time flies! I have a question - How important is it to select a correct 2. stage tube size as long as the first, smaller opening is close to your regular tube size?

Just got the Pumptoys LongJohnny. It has a cushy seal that’s about 3” and the cylinder is 4”. No special measurement needed. Seals great and feels great!

I am looking to start pumping soon and have a few questions. Any input is much appreciated.
1. If pumping for length, should I stick with the appropriately sized cylinder over a 2 stage.
2. My sack has always been pretty tight and I figured the best way to get a better hang was to buy and wear a ball ring but reading this it seems this could be solved with pumping them instead. Is this correct?
3. If so, can I just pump them seperately with the cylinder I get for my normal pumping?
