Am I pumping too much?

I pump 5 days a week Sun-Thurs, at 10hg for 20 minutes. Then I jelq for 10. Ive been looking at these threads and Im a little scared that im pumping at too high a degree. My erections seem fine, but then again Ive only been doing this for maybe 5 or 6 months now. Also, I havent seen much growth. I gained .25” from the pump i believe, and like I said its almost been half a year.

Any recommendations for me? I like having that feeling of pull at higher Hg’s, but if I need too I can tone it down.

What kind of post-pump expansion are you getting?

BTW I’d never try that for fear of really hurting myself. I’m fine with twice a day, 5Hg for 10 minutes.

I am really surprised that at 10”hg pressure you have not seen discoloration and some loss of EQ.

I have never pumped before and am not sure I ever will…though I am curious. For those pumping at safe levels what sort of average girth expansion is achieved beyond regular girth…albeit temporary.

I ask because I think it is obvious Shane Diesel pumps before his scenes (I have never seen him anywhere near flaccid). I wonder if he pumps to 7”+ girth but in reality is closer to 6” or 6.5” but is able to retain ridiculous post pump expansion.

For me, the best expansion occurs as I reach the 30 minute mark and is between 1/4 to 1/2 inch larger then normal max girth. It doesn’t matter how the 30 minutes is reached. It can be 3 sets of 10 minutes or 2 sets of 15 minutes or even one 30 minute set, but less trauma is experienced when multiple sets are used.

I’ll be honest with myself, that there is discoloration. My EQ still seems fine, but it’s not rock hard. From the looks of your reply, I think I’m pumpin too much :P

Well for the sake of my member I will tone it down to 7Hgs for 20 minutes. I fear though that it may be too late, I say this because my penis no longer expands as quickly around 5-7Hgs. What I mean is that 10hgs doesn’t deliver the same amount of pull as it use to and I am already used to more pressure.

Also it’s not like I go straight to 10hgs for a whole 20min, I start at 5 for 5min then 7 for 5min, and then usually 10 for 10min. And the expansion is amazing, I don’t develop donut head anymore and my penis stays plump for a good amount of time.

But like I said I will tone it down. I know that after 15 minutes my penis is usually fully expanded and it will just sort of fill the tube instead of extend forward.

Starting Stats - 5.5 BPEL x 5.6 EG

Current Stats - 5.7 BPEL x 6.5 EG

Goal - 7 x 6 (with hopefully a large flaccid hang)

You think you may have gained .25” from pumping, are you talking about length or girth? Anyway if you have been doing that much pressure for this long, you are not over doing it if that is what you are used to now.

If you are only doing 30 minutes of PE work a day for 5 days out of the week, I am sure you could benefit from increasing the amount of time spent doing PE, are you able to or too busy?

What about a lower amount of pressure for a longer amount of time? I’ve taken a bit of a hiatus and pretty much only stretch and jelq with clamping here and there but I found that 3 sets at low hg’s for 20 mins got amazing results and only performed 3 times a week at max. You may be well past that though. I also found pumping with clamping in between sets make a great combination and left me with a nice full flaccid hang and great EQ.

Bluray, now that my schooling is done I will have plenty more time for more PE so I will try that, but what did you have in mind.

And coolbill, how low were your Hgs for the twenty minutes.

I also want to know if my pump is lacking a key component because it no longer holds a seal under 5hgs. I think that I am missing one of the rings at the tip of the hose. I have a clear ring at the very tip but ifeel like there was once a black one prior to the clear one. I use a kaplan pump.

I used to pump at high pressures too and would feel like when I went down to 5”hg it was like nothing. Problem was, the discoloration kept growing and the EQ kept deteriorating.

I went on a program to reduce pressure in order to have zero trauma and teenage EQ and of course still get great expansion. Turns out, that using low pressure for slightly longer times gives great expansion, with no trauma and fantastic EQ.

Now I get fantastic all around results by pumping with a full erection at only 3 to 3.5”hg for a total pump time of 30 minutes.

You just don’t realize how well your cock will respond to the lower pressures until you give it a chance and just hang in there for a longer duration. Slow but sure works.

As far as the black “O” ring goes, you can find one at your local Ace Hardware. The size is 5/16 X 3/16 X 1/16. That is OD, ID and thickness.

Great post, gprent.The pumping gains I got came from following that kind of routine. 30 mins, 3 to 3.5 HG. I tried all kinds of variations (more time, more pressure) but that routine is golden.

I need to start pumping again.

Last night I pumped at 7hgs for just 15 minutes a I followed up with some jelqing, and my erection was insane. So you were right about lower pressures. I will also look around for that blasted ring cause like I said, it can’t hold a seal lower than 5hgs
