First night, I did 3 sets ranging from 5-10 minutes. I tried it in the shower first, but I was struggling (I don’t have the shower strap) and I felt like I was in the shower forever, and since I live with other people I didn’t want to raise any questions, so I took it off, finished showering, and then went in my room and did 2 more sets. As it was my first time with the Bathmate (or any pump) it took some getting used to, but I did seem to have a nice fat flaccid afterwards if no immediate visual results.

Second night, I decided to try one 15-20 minute set and give the expansion more time to happen. Both nights I tried to always go in fully erect, and I was having an easier time getting/staying hard in the tube this time. My dick looked absolutely enormous in the tube, but as soon as the pressure was released it pretty much went back to normal. However, after I came out of the tube I masturbated to 100% erection and measured, and I was already 1/4th of an inch longer! My starting point was 6.25 BPEL and I measured at 6.5 BPEL last night post pump, and if I’m being honest, when I pressed down hard into the bone I was able to get up near 6.75. And maybe 1/4th of an inch increased MSEG as well. That’s always so variable. I’m 5.25 base erect girth (can’t remember the abbrev for that) but mid-shaft I like to say I’m 5, although sometimes it’s more like 4.8-4.9. Last night it was around 5.2-5.25.

Obviously I realize this isn’t permanent after only 2 nights, but it’s definitely encouraging to already see results. I’m going to keep this up for several weeks to condition my penis better, and then I might try out some experimentation.

One thing I want to try is going 1. 10 minute Pump set in warm/hot water 2. 20 minute Hanging set 3. 10 Pump set with cool/cold water. The cold water would be to try out the theory of cementing gains by using warmth to stretch tissue and then releasing the stretch only after cooling the tissue down to its normal temp. But since I’m not super eager to shove my dick in cold water, I’ll hold off on that for at least a few weeks/a month.

Skip the cold water. I don’t think it does a damn thing other than make your cock cold and shriveled.

In my humble opinion, I believe edging style masturbation can help cement gains. In other words, achieving and maintaining an extremely hard erection for 30 minutes to an hour. Keeps your dick “maxed out” so to speak, and I believe it really helped cement the gains I got.

P.S. I have a bathmate, the only way it works for me is seated in the tub. It was not designed to be used standing in the shower. All the instructional vids when I got mine showed seated in the tub. They seem to have tried to change marketing tactics to claim it works standing in the shower. It no doubt does work for some guys but I think they are girthier to begin with.

There is no way to accurately measure pressure with it, so you have no clue whether or not you are over pumping and damaging your capillaries etc. Rec pressures for permanent enlargement are generally from 3HG to 5HG. Above that is not recommended,.

Best way to start with pumping is to get a hand pump with a pressure gauge so you know what you are doing. Your investment will be less, and the $25.00 hand pump I have can be used safely with either air or water.

However if you’ve got a bathmate you can make it work, just be damn careful about pressures. Your cock is not supposed to hurt. If you can’t get a full hard on after pumping, that means you have pumped to hard, so back off next time.

I agree With sta-kool. I have a bathmate x30 xtreme. It’s a waste of money. For a fraction of the price you can get standard cylinders and a pump to convert to a water pump if you want. Also the bathmate is inherently the wrong size for pretty much everyone under 5.5” girth. It’s a great marketing ploy but that’s about it. You should be using a 1.75” cylinder to pump with and at 5.25 base girth that still gives you a bit more room than necessary. If you continue to use it be careful and watch your PIs.

If you’re committed to pumping, then you need to get a real pump. If you’re just supplementing and have enough experience and common sense to moderate your activity, then the Bathmate is fine accessory. I like using the BM in my morning shower. I try to go in erect and find that milking seems to help my overall EQ.

Yeah that’s pretty much what I was doing last night when I measured at damn near half an inch longer than my starting measurement. Kept it super hard for 20-30 minutes, measured, and then finished.

Yeah I figured out how to get a seal just sitting in my room. I put some towels on the floor, fill up a large cup with warm to hot-ish water. Get hard, fill the bathmate with water, lower my dick into it and then bring it quickly up to parallel with the floor and pump it a few times (back into the cup) to get the seal.

Yeah I’ve been taking it slow. And haven’t had any bad PI’s yet. I’ve probably overpumped by one pump once or twice, but as soon as you realize it’s a little too much pressure its easy to hit the release valve at the top and it lets in a little bit of air and brings the pressure down slightly.

The only issue I can really say I have with it is the gaiter bite. I’m guessing it will fade as I toughen up that area with repeated use.

I’ll probably stick with the bathmate until it no longer seems to be giving me results. So far it’s been really encouraging. I’m not expecting to just add a half an inch to my BPEL every night when I come out of the tube, but seeing that last night was a big positive reinforcement and gives me added motivation, and encourages me that I will see continued results. When I feel like I haven’t made any progress in a few months then I may look into getting a “real pump.” I think it’s funny though that some people talk about “be careful with the bathmate! It’s powerful, and it doesn’t have a gauge so you can hurt yourself” and then others act like it’s a toy or something.

The lack of a gauge is what makes it a toy.

Gauge allows you to do consistant workouts for enlargement and avoid overtraining and injury.

Watch your PI’s like you are doing and you’ll be good.

So after 4 nights I’m still getting that same expansion out to 6.5-6.75 BPEL, and got my MSEG up to 5.25 (up from 4.9-5.0) I’ve been getting a little bit of soreness the past 2 nights, but I don’t think it’s from the BM, I’m almost positive it’s from the edging I’ve been doing after I come out of the tube. I haven’t had a single instance of discoloration, spotting, or anything like that. And I don’t THINK I’ve been getting fluid buildup, but I’m not entirely sure. I don’t know what that would look/feel like.

After I finish pumping, I’ve been using a hair tie and tying it around the base and doing some edging to get max expansion, and trying to keep it like that for 30 minutes or as long as I can stand, but I think as much as I love seeing that engorgement it may be too much for me right now. I may have been trying to run before I walk. So I might just use the BM exclusively with no edging afterwards for a few weeks before I try it again.

The edging afterwards is a great idea, honestly I think it helps cement gains.

Sounds like you are pumping everyday? If so try pumping every other day, with girth work in general you need more rest.

Some pump newbies do well with one day one, two days off.

As to edging, something I did was pump one day w only 10 mins edging at the end. Then if I felt like it, the next day I would edge for 30 to 45 mins. For some guys that is too much, so they recommend not doing ANYTHING on off days.

So I pumped 6 days straight before taking a day off yesterday. I actually wanted to pump but couldn’t find the private time to do it.

On Thursday I tried out using cold water. I did:

1. 10 minute pump with hot water
2. 10 minutes of clamped edging
3. 10 minute pump with cold water.

I stuck my engorged dick fresh from edging straight into the tube of cold water as soon as I took off the hair tie lol. I really do think it helped. I had no soreness the next day (I had been getting soreness previously, due to the edging) and I’ve been hanging big all day friday and today, getting lots of random erections. I think the cold water helps with inflammation and theoretically should help cement gains. I’m going to continue doing it, starting tonight.
