A question of pump choice

Wanted a few opinions from the experienced: going to purchase a 9 x 1.75 setup and add the pumping 101 newbie routine to my jelqing..

Kaplan, LAPdist or Colt for comfort and longevity??

By far the LAPump and 1.75” cylinder is the best. BUT get the 10” cylinder instead of the 9”—no difference in cost. You’ll get a little lest direct vacuum on the glans from the hose connection. Can’t comment on the others. My pump is about 4 years old and works great. Before I bought it, I had tried all of the other and all of the ways to make cylinders. That flanged base makes a believer of all of who experienced the cut from the Non-Penis intended cylinders.

I agree with Tennsteven LAPdist; they provided great customer service and a brilliant product.

It seems that kaplan users are from the old school.. I was checking on pricing and it’s about double for the kit and double for all other accessories for the lapdist.. If by some chance I work my way up to a 2.0” tube in the next few years, it’s gonna really cost me.. Has anyone had experience with both brands (in terms of price to usage comparison) and noticed major or minor differences. There seems to be tons of lapdist support but very few current users ring back about kaplan stuff?? Gotta check the paypal account and see what I can afford..

I still don’t understand why you are stuck on a 1.75” cylinder. Your 5.5” head is going to pack that cylinder right away and cut off the vacuum to your lower shaft. I still think a straight walled lapdist 2” cylinder is the right one for you.

The other way to go is just buy the cylinder and an extra male coupler from lapdist and buy the pump from Harbor Freight that sells it in a brake bleeder kit for around $20.

Go get a Kaplan pump at an adult bookstore; they are cheaper there than online (depending on which site you visit and if they still have them marked on sale). The last time I looked, they were almost double the cost if you order them online but only $40 US if you buy them at the bookstore.

I was kinda surprised too.. Perhaps it’s these damn california prices !! After alll gas is up to almost $4 a gallon in my town (super unleaded that is ) the only state higher is Hawaii..
