Hey just a question: you folks keep saying that water ruins the gauge, yet I’ve been water pumping and I get water up the meter all the time and my pump is still going. So what’s the deal? Why would water fuck it up?

I already said it doesn’t hold the vacuum I did pump with my finger covering the outlet yes.
My electric pump arrived. The damn thing makes a lot of noise :(
