3 Weeks Pumping - Questions

gprent- I didn’t know about this incremental routine I always thought it was better to stay at the lower pressures and increase time? I have been pumping for a few months just doing roughly 2.5hg for 10 minutes followed by 20 jelqs then another 5 minutes with 1 minute at 5hg.

The reason for this is because I feel like I don’t respond well to the more intense forms of PE- I tried hanging regularly but never adapted enough to be able to handle the heavy weights I was just getting constant fatigue at low levels but no gains. I also tried clamping but had zero gains with that and little expansion during the set.

With this in mind, do you think I should be pushing the pressure on the pump higher? Am I just conditioning myself by staying at these lower levels because I thought I was avoiding that scenario. I mark my measurement on the cylinder at the 5hg pressure and it seems to have stayed around the same point for about a month now so I wanted to add something to the routine- should it be time or pressure?

The incremental routine is rather new because I invented it a while back and have been testing it on myself. For me, it is the best routine I have ever used.

I think you should try it. For you, you would start your first 5 minutes at 2.5”hg, the next 5 minutes at 4”hg and then the next 5 minutes at 5”hg.

If that goes well, after a while try 4 increments starting as above and the final 5 minutes at 6”hg. That will be 20 minutes total. If that goes well, then you can try extending the final 6”hg setting up to 10 minutes and then eventually 15 minutes for a 30 minute continuous session.

Try an every other day PE schedule so you get good recovery between each session.

If you try this and it works, be sure to leave feedback on your results.

I selected the correct size based on a 4.75-4.875 base girth. By your math I would have selected a to be that my normal erection would fill up immediately.

4.875 / 3.14 = 1.55

But if I had a cylinder that I packed, how would I gain girth?

The base girth is bigger than the midshaft in most of guys. If you don’t pack the base, the seal will always be imperfect and the issues you described will happen.

I’ve been doing this this week.

Initial feedback has been very positive PI’s. I noticed by the second day of pumping and jelqing that I felt sore (not pain, just sore) but my EQ was not quite as strong later in the day. I have not added back in jelqs or anything this week (have been sick, so keeping routines light) but my EQ has been incredible. Yesterday I pumped, threw on a cock ring, and edged for a bit. My MSEG measurement was 1/8th inch larger than normal but my penis did not have a real spongy feeling (felt pretty hard as normal). I’m sure there was a bit of extra fluid and blood trapped in there from the edging and ring, but still nice to see some expansion.

This week is 25 minutes (5 minutes at 4hg, 5 minutes at 5hg, the balance at 6hg). Next week I’ll bump it up to 30 minutes. I’ll gauge whether to throw back in jelqs and such then.

I am. Only doing every other day, per your suggestion.

Thanks gprent I’ll try it this week because I just measured and I’ve made only minimal gains over the last 6 months that I can’t even be sure are accurate. Do you watch porn when you pump or are you not fully erect? I assume the consensus is still to stay as hard as possible but I do remember reading a thread on here where a guy explained how he couldn’t see the logic around expansion when fully erect and thought it might be better to be less hard.

Do you jelq in between increments or, for example, when you are at the 30 minute session its just 30 mins straight in the tube and nothing else?

Also, do you think I should start with one on two off for the beginning as thats what I’m currently doing and don’t want to max out too soon.

I do watch porn when I pump and I stay fully erect. I have no problem with expansion in both the length and girth directions.

First, remember you are not starting off with a 30 minute session. You slowly work your way up there after a couple of weeks. But every session as you work your way up is constant inside the tube with no breaks. It is the constant pressure with no breaks that results in the best expansion. What I do during each session is keep the tube moving by milking it, or just moving it around so there is no blood flow restriction from pressure on the fat pad.

If you are making increases to your routine slowly as I described, I think every other day should work for you. Maybe every once in a while you might need 2 days off, but I don’t think you should need 2 days off on a regular basis. If you do, make some adjustments to your final pressure setting.

I want to emphasize how adjustable this incremental routine is. Already in this thread I have outlined 2 different routines with different starting and ending pressures. Just to give you an example of a 3rd routine, and the one I currently use is this. My starting pressure is 5”hg and every 5 minutes I make 1”hg increases until I reach 8”hg and spend the rest of the 30 minutes there, although I occasionally go to 35 minutes. The point I am making is that as you become more and more conditioned, you can make pressure and or time increases to fit your conditioning level.

I think what makes this incremental routine so effective is that it helps avoid trauma by easing into the pressure increases during your pump session and giving your penis plenty of time to come to equilibrium at each pressure level. I don’t have any discoloration issues using this routine.

Doing your method still. Last week no problems. This week, I bumped up to 30 minutes (5 @ 4hg, 5@5hg, 20 @ 6hg). I donuted both days (quickly went down, but still). I also had a small lymp build-up at the tip. I’m thinking in this case I should bump down to 3hg, 4hg, and 5hg, and go back to 25 minutes max.

I will say that putting on the cock ring and getting a full erection I measured at 5” mid shaft. That’s only the second time I’ve hit that with expansion work.

That is exactly what you should do, adjust down a little bit. Stay there for awhile and you next increase should be the same pressures but increase up to the 30 minutes. When you can do that with no adverse side effects, then you can bump up to 3,4,5,6”hg for 30 minutes total.

No donut. Post expansion still up to 5”. Next week I’ll keep at this, and then the week after add 1 minute, and continue to add one minute a week until I get back up to 30 minutes (but leaving pressures alone).

Okay thanks gprent I’m going to start adopting this routine. My only worry is that I might get conditioned too quickly. Has the thinking changed from being low pressure for long time to higher pressure for longer time? I know from reading your other posts that you are quite a methodical kind of guy so I was just wondering what your thinking around this was/ what changed your mind?
