Yes. Mostly at the base but I’ve had a small amount of mid shaft gains as well.

I’v gone from 6.5X5.5 to 7.25X6.25 If that keeps up I will be in the odd situation of trying to find a way to increas length WITHOUT adding any more to girth.

I feel you. That’s sometimes the problem with hanging, sort of like a ‘side effect’. You was hitting hard for lenght first, and then you’re gaining mad girth which, as people said here, may hinder or slow down lenght gains over time

I’ve been hanging only since about last December. I have definite gains in both departments. In terms of girth, the gain is mainly apparent at the base and for the first 1.5” up the shaft. Mid shaft I’m about 5.38, but at the base I’m closer to 6”. I really like the way it looks at the base now and it _definitely_ didn’t look like that when I started. As a matter of fact, I’d say the change in base shape was the first real change I noticed. I’m not sure if the gains would remain if I stopped though. Just for the record, I’ve gone through about 100 hanging sessions in that time, usually 3 sets of 20 minutes. So that equates to 100 hours.

Of course you will gain girth from hanging. Firstly, cells will regrow not just “longer”, but also “thicker” to prevent further “injury” to the penis. Secondly, your base girth will increase as the “inner penis” becomes pulled out (it’s fat!)

I’ve been hanging 6-months. I’ve never really measured my base, just mid shaft and I have gained nada, nothing in girth there. It feels like my base is somewhat thicker but no proof either way. Besides, what good does a half inch or more around your base do if it only goes up a half inch on your shaft before it thins out to your mid shaft girth?

The look in your girls eyes when you plunge that last inch of your length in. I never really asked my ex, don’t have a girlfriend currently, but she definately enjoyed the base girth.

I don’t know if this would be the right thread to get my question answered, but it seems relevant.

After I’m done with the newbie routine, I plan to try hanging. My main focus (aside from length gains) is actually base girth. My fear though, and my question as a result, is that while my “inner penis” is getting pulled out as base girth increases, my current base girth will get pulled out further and further replacing my mid-shaft girth now.

What’s the problem you ask? I currently have the baseball bat going on. Present base girth is 4.5” and it gradually thickens towards the head. So hanging would physically suggest that 4.5” will eventually be my midshaft girth, and my base girth might thicken out to 5” or so.. Just visualizing that, I’m not sure I like the looks of it?

Is this necessarily what will happen, and if so, are there any steps I can take to correct/avoid it? Thanks.

Hanging in my limited experience will thicken you a bit all over, but the base girth will thicken up much more quickly than will your cock be pulled out of your body. Therefore, it will **reduce** your baseball bat shape even as your dick elongates. In other words, what will be pulled away from your body will be the thicker base.

I have gained only at the base - was using a BIB and captains wrench, now an LG. never had head or mid shaft increases from hanging.
