Why not start off hanging

clasik, if about an inch to an inch and a half of EL is within your long term goal, for most guys manual PE will be the best option. If your EL goals are more than that then what you’ve posited is a very good idea. Use SPS (static progressive stretch) principles and an IPR (injury, proliferation, recovery) strategy for best results.

You are making the assumption that higher weights = greater intensity. This may not necessarily be the case: it may be that the veteran hangers have simply finally figured out the technical aspects of hanging. To put it another way, they simply have learned out how to apply the weight in the most effective manner.

The “more weight” approach to hanging does toughen up the penis, and as a result, makes gains more difficult to achieve. I believe that other ways of increasing hanging intensity are equally effective, and do not have the negatives associated with higher weights.

“Working the angles”, directing the stress of hanging more efficiently through a better hanger attachment, are all, in my opinion better ways of increasing hanging intensity. I would choose improving the skills of hanging over blindly (and riskily) increasing weight any day.

For the record, I have been doing PE many years, and only started manual PE in the last few months. All of my gains have come from pumping (mostly girth increase) and hanging (mostly length increase), combined with a cockring and traction wrapping.

Darn right. Hanging was a sweet deal for me since I was reading and working on the computer 4 or more hours a day at the time.


Running a Massive Co-Front.

So if the stretching of ligament, tunica and skin is done by hanging and this focusses on a different area of the penis than jelqing, how can hanging cause the penis to be less responsive to jelqing when this exercise focuses on the erectile chambers?

I understand toughening of the ligament through hanging and I’m sure there is a correlation there and it seems logical, but it also seems that since the exercises focus on a different part of the penis that the different stresses would cause gains.

Another reason i was thinking about starting to hang instead of the newbie routine is privacy. Right now I live by myself and can hang all day, but soon I will no longer be living alone. I think I have about 6 months to a year till I have someone living with me.

Has anyone reported results from applying that yet? Years ago, the theory sounded interesting.
