Who hanged religiously but DID NOT gain?

Just curious because I always here about the ones who have gained amazingly but not necessarily the ones who got nothing from their long hours. I am a hard gainer and Ive recently started up again after a month or so break but with the newbie routine. The thing is, my tunica feels thick and I cant help but think I’m going to get nothing from just jelqing. I considered hanging a while ago but changed my mind because of time restrictions but I just keep thinking maybe it would save time in the long run….There are so many threads on hanging and I know ideally I should read them all but I woz hoping someone could point me in roughly the right direction for the best way to start? But if you didnt gain anything from hanging please let me know, tell me what you did etc and maybe someone else can chime in and give you advice aswell!

I am a hard gainer too. But during the 10-months that I did hang (and that hanging ruled my life sad to say) I made a modest NBPEL gain. which was in a way disproportional to the amount of time and effort I put in. I also gained a lot of base girth.

I am starting to conclude that less is better for me as a hard gainer and that wearing a static stretcher may give me the best overall gains to time/effort ratio.

Do you mean hanging in church?

I gained from hanging but it is certainly possible to do it right and not gain.


Running a Massive Co-Front.

Guilty. 6 months, over 10 hours per weeek in the hanger, weights up to 25#. Never gained. I took a few months off and came back to easy jelqing and stretching, and gained 1/2”.

Maybe I fucked up and did something wrong, or maybe not. I thought I knew what I was doing at the time.

We need to figure out why…Wrong angle, too much weight too fast, not reaching fatigue, bad hanger…

There needs to be an explanation.

In terms of the amount of hours I have been putting in I have been doing a very laid back PE routine. The vet PEer may even call my routine as being lazy. I do short but intense sessions. One in the morning and one in the afternoon. Usually 3-4 days a week.
My lazy routine has however provided an extra 3/4” of penis in a tad under 4 months.
Maybe less is better?

Modesto - how many hours did you hang per day?

- I am starting to believe that modest weight (12” or so) x long hang time (2+ hours per day) might be better than high weight x short hang time.

TTT: I would hang 5 days a week (or more) for 2-3 hours per day, sometimes more. I started very light—around 5#. I spent a lot of time in the 15# range, didn’t gain, and increased the weight gradually to 20 and then 25. Most of my heavy hanging was BTC, but I also did a lot of SO sets with 20#.

Several months later, after finally getting some gains using the jelqing and stretching I referred to above, I came back to hanging with a vacuum hanger, 2-3 hours at a time continuously, in the 10-15# range. I got great fatigue without much trauma to the skin and so forth, but I didn’t keep up the program for long. I didn’t gain, but it’s certainly possible I would have if I had continued. It’s impossible to say.

Rushmore: It’s certainly possible I was doing something wrong. It’s also possible that hanging simply doesn’t work for me. Nowhere is it written that hanging enough weight for enough time will guarantee you gains. Well, maybe Bib wrote it, but I don’t think there is any scientific basis for that idea. I think it’s wishful thinking or worse on the part of the PE community to conclude that gains are the inevitable consequence of a properly conducted hanging regimen. As I see it, hanging is no different from any other PE technique; it works for some guys, but not for others.

I always thought that your ligs were made of steel I would have rather seen you hanging with a modified captains wench rather than the bib to stretch the tunica. I think all of your growth comes from the tunica and not ligs. I think with hanging it might be better to stop after all gains stop and switch to a girth routine and than after a year go back to hanging. I found my pull back position would change and get higher after a long break from hanging and than slowly go back down when I started hanging again. If I remember right Bib was pretty much done hanging by the time he invented any of the production Bibs, I also remember him saying his first hangers were noose type hangers which I don’t recommend and either does he but I often wonder if he got most of his gains using those kids of hangers which stretch both tunica and ligs.

Ah good point Dino - I believe the smaller ‘starter’ and Hardcore Starter also gives more of a tunicae stretch?
