Which Hanger do I order?

I am just shy of 7 inches NBPEL, But my base is 5 inches and little past half way and up I am 5 inches, But 4 6/8 in the middle part. should I order the Bib hanger or Bib starter? Thanks!

What does your flaccid look like? Similar? Many people say to go with the Starter because it’s easier to get better stretching angles. Go to Bib’s site and sign up on his forum and ask him what is best - he’ll answer.

I agree, ask Bib. But I’m pretty sure he will tell you to go with the Starter.

I would have choosen starter, if your not doing girth excerises as well.

Ordered starter last night. Thanks for input guys :) . Now anyone have any advice on what type of weights I should buy? Whats best for hanging?

I use barbell/dumbbell weight plates which are fairly inexpensive. I have plates that are 1.25 lbs, 2.5 lbs, 5 lbs and 10 lbs. Take a strong piece of nylon cord about a foot long and tie a loop at both ends with a bowline knot. You can loop the cord through the center of whatever number and size plates you desire and hook the loops on both ends of the cord onto the hook that is part of the hanger. Adding or removing plates is pretty quick and easy.

I got my weights at Walmart. I use a simple cloth belt as the attachment and weight holder. Picture 1 is the belt. Picture 2 is my weights and picture 3 is how they look. I find that hanging them like this prevents them from hitting the floor as compared to the traditional methods I’ve seen from people tying rope around them. The open ended, no tie belt makes it easy to add or remove weights as needed.

I would recommend you to start a log over at Bib`s forums. The guy will pretty much hold you in the hand and walk you through the process.

Be patient though. There is a learning curve. And don`t rush it with the weights.

Where do you get a cloth belt like that?

Ha ha - that’s the funny part. It was one of my kids. I think it came with one of their outfits and they outgrew it, but I bet you anything Walmart sells it too! That belt is PERFECT for my weights because the steel hooks or whatever you call them make the perfect stopper underneath.

Honestly, any type of belt with a good sized buckle will do the same job. I was looking at my regular belt that was leather and the buckle was about 2 inches by 2 inches. That will work just fine.
