Hello,

I’ve been PEing on and off for a little over a year now and just this feb I started hanging using the newbie routine. I have been following it closely and I’m up to 17lbs for 45min per day and it’s seems to be pretty easy but so far I have not noticed any results. I’ve been reading around this forum and it seems like days off with hanging is a bad thing. I can hang 6 days at the most but Friday is the only day I can’t make anytime. I’m thinking about taking time off and then starting back up at a lower weight for possibly a longer time? Or should I just continue as I am and go 6 days instead of the 5 days on and 2 days off as stated in the program? Basically I’m tired of wasting my time and if I’m going to devote 45min + a day I want to be doing things right. Any help would be greatly appreciated guys. Sorry for posting this here but I don’t post often so I don’t have rights to post in the hanger’s forum.

I’m not into hanging, but isn’t it 17 lbs since february too much too soon?!

You maybe right. I went up once every month so I had about 4 weeks on each weight. I started at 5 then went to 10 which was probably a little too much. Then from 10 to 12 and from 12 to 15. I’m not sure if I went up to quick or if having the two off days off a week killed me but thats what the program called for. I’m taking time off now to try to see if I can figure out a better plan of attack this time.

Any ideas?

If you can use that weight comfortably, I see no reason to go down in weight. Just increase your set time to 20 minutes if you can and increase the amount of sets to 4 or 5. Also, decrease your off days, some don’t keep any at all.
Do you get fatigue? What angle do you hang to.

I hang straight down. I was doing 3 15min sets and I was trying not to miss any days which is proving to be really difficult because of my job. I started out at 5 pounds and every 3-4 weeks I increased until I arrived at 15 pounds. I recently purchased an autoxleeve set and I want to work that in as well using that during the day at work and at night. Also considering pumping as well. I’m taking the month off to figure out a new plan of attack.

Oddly I haven’t felt any real fatigue up till this point with the program I listed above. I may have to increase the amount of sets and time. I was also hoping that the autoxleeve and possible the aid of a pump could help me on the days I don’t have the time to hang.

Hey Mitch I have two of the auto-sleeves and I love those damn things. I have been hanging for only about four months myself and they are perfect to prevent shrinkage after any kind of session, hanging, jelqing or whatever. Before I got them I would use a traction wrap or a jelly ring but they are so much easier, and effective. I sleep with it on, wear it at work, pretty much all the time and have had no problems. The soft one seems to be wearing out though, so I’m thinking it could be a little costly, but I think well worth it.

Maybe you should try hanging at a different angle if your not feeling the fatigue SD. I read an interesting thread on choosing your hanging angle in relation to your erection angle. My erections are pretty much straight up, say at ten or eleven O’clock, so I am hanging opposite that which is BTC. You might want to reconsider taking a long break at this point, I’m no expert by any means but it seems if you have not stretched those ligs yet you don’t want them to heal and harden now. Just a thought, there is a ton of info here on this subject.
