When to start

I have been on manual stretch and jelq now for 3 months, gained very little in length about 0.2” and I’m not sure but I think I actually lost some girth in some strange way. Well I was wondering when is it good time to start hanging? And is it a must to stand while hanging or is sitting just as good?

I believe most guys sit down when hanging, or even lying down. You’ll probably want to be able to multitask while hanging; otherwise finding the hours may not be possible.

I started hanging after 3 months of jelqing. I read the hanging FAQ’s and 101’s, checked my LOT and started with 1.75kg BTC, 3x15 minutes the first days.

Gradually increase the time; when you reach your max available hanging time, up the weight if and when necessary only. Be prepared to spend some time the first weeks making adjustments with wrappings, hanger attachment and fine tuning hanger settings.

I can see hanging while sitting, but I just can’t picture hanging while lying down, how does that work?

So starting to hang now could only boost my gains, right?I mean it’s not like you’re to jelq and stretch until you see no gains and then start hanging?

Using some sort of pulley system is common. You can still lie down and hang BTC from the bed, with feet on a chair or whatever, and you won’t need pulleys. Actually, with elaborate pulley system, you could hang in all directions lying down. I don’t know of anyone who does it (again, multitasking; which often implies desk time), but I’m positively sure it can be done.

You will not get an inch in a month just because you start hanging, but it may very well lead to better length gains for you in the long run. You can still jelq and stretch, if you have the time and energy for it, but shouldn’t be necessary if you put in adequate hanging time.
Personally, I hang and that’s it right now as far as PE, except for Kegels.

So what is the best mix then? Hang then stretch and jelq or stretch and jelq and then hang or hang in the morning and stretch an jelq in the evening.well you get the picture I hope :)

And also if you would hold constant manual stretch for 10 min, isn’t that as good as hanging?

If you’re doing heavy girth work, do that after hanging; if you really want to work girth and length simultaneously. As for mixing, if any sequence would be practical for you with your daily schedule, I’d suggest you consult memento’s routine for ideas on when to do what. Personally, I would try to hang as much as possible early in the day, and also end the day cooling off with half my max hanging weight. This would allow for girth work in between, since half the max weight for a set or two should be a reasonable load on the unit even when plumped from jelqs/horses/clamps, etc. I have had no problems when trying it, but you must go by feel and visual indications on how your penis responds to all the work.

I can’t personally recommend it, having not tried this. I don’t manually stretch for longer sets than a couple of minutes max, with good shaking and some jelqs for circulation in between. Short session pulling is an obvious practical advantage of manual pulling over hanging. Some advanced stretching exercises may also lend themselves better to manual grips.

A good hanger, attached properly allows for better circulation, thus longer sets. It also allows perfect quantifying of the pulling force.

Study the hanging FAQ’s, then look up mem’s manual PE routine for further ideas.

Okey, ill ask memento about hanging schedule.

But manually stretching for 10 min must be same as hanging 10 min right?if you hold the stretch constantly. I I haven’t hanged with a hanger earlier, but I did some looong manual stretching while laying in bed, and it felt good, I really felt the inner penis being stretched.

I started hanging 1 hour (3 20 min sets) with 5lbs. my first day, which is today!! My ligs are sore but they could be sorer, I think next week I’ll bump the weight up 2.5lbs.

This is ofcourse after conditioning the ligs through intense ‘A’ stretches/DLD blasters.

I do all my girth work at 5am in the morning. Erections are easy, testosterone is high, privacy is high ! And I have that nice “pump” for all day !

Then, in the evening, I do all my hanging. Morning erections are not in the way ;)
