What would you do

I really want to start hanging but with so many threads about all of the different type of homemade hangers I was going to ask for some opinions.

My first thing is safety above all. After all I am talking about my most prized possession here. I don’t mind spending the money to purchase a hanger but I also don’t want to spend the money needlessly. I am afraid that if I make one I will do it wrong and lose my dick because I screwed up something. I want to be safe as possible when doing this for the first time.

So my question is if money was not a real factor would you purchase a bib hanger or are the homemade ones just as good and I am being paranoid? (sorry if this has been asked before but I searched and did not see anything)

Chill. Something has to go pretty damn wrong for you to lose your dick. :chuckle:
You’ll be fine as long as you obey the rules of safe hanging; avoid sharp or consistant pain, numbness and coldness. Read all you can about it, to do it right and to recognize the symptoms of you doing something wrong.

That being said, if I were you, I’d still buy a Bib. The thing just is worth the money.

The bib is a great hanger but the wench works really well is very cheap and hits the tunica more.

Thanks Base. I just imagine the worst like the damn thing slipping with a weight on it jerking my dick out along with it and leave it lying on the floor next to the weight. :p “ouch”

Dino I read a lot and thought about the wrench but the thing that worried me was it wrapped all the way around my shaft and I was scared it may cut off too much circulation. Again I am being paranoid but all I can think about is my dick getting cut off from all the blood flow and it never works again.

I am really leaning toward the Bib just because a lot of people use it safely and I would think since they are for sell that they are better quality than anything I could make.

Very good decision IMO. Be prepared to spend some time the first few weeks, experimenting with different wrappings and settings to work out the best comfort/safety.

I use a Bib for my heavy hanging sessions and PEweights in between to keep the stretch. Bib’s hanger really can’t be improved on. It has the ability to meet all conditions. A wench will do an excellent job without creating circulation problems because it only grips the sides like a Bib. A wench is very flexible and will do an excellent job but can’t compete when it comes to anything over about 18 pounds. Some guys can do that but you really have to know what your doing to make a wench handle that much. The Bib can handle that and much more. He’s definitely got a product that meets all the requirements.

Thanks guys I am going to go ahead and order it by the end of the week. The only thing that is a little annoying is it doesn’t look like they accept credit cards (easier and quicker), but oh well.

Brisk, it would be a good idea to go ahead and make a Captn’s Wench. You can use the Wench to get your feet wet in the hanging game while deciding whether to get a Bib Hanger.

A Wench is handy to have around anyway. It may come in handy for a spare hanger, or as an ADS. For less than $10, you can make yourself a Wench.

Don’t forget, a Wench is a great addition to any PE’ers toolbox. Go out and get your Wench parts (Velcro, Grippers, Strap, Cable Clamps, and S-Hook) to make one today. You’ll be happy you made a Wench.

The only reason I’d see for skipping right ahead to the Bib without giving the Wench a try is if you, like me, are too incredibly lazy and mechanically inept to want to build a good Wench yourself :)
