But DLM could have an injury, the mods recommended he take a break from PE. Too much too soon can break something down there!

Dlm do kegels for EQ and anything that aids your heart, going for a walk, jog etc. I’m sure your EQ goes down a bit from hanging, but you can counter that. If you have a girl there’s supplements you can take for a better erection, water is good too. Look up erectile dysfunction supplements.I’m sure it’s on here. There’s horny goat weed, L-arginine,ginko bilobo,saw palmetto,siberian ginseng,magnesium,vitamin c, etc.

Sorry to hear of your injury and hope that you will begin recovery soon. If I were you I would follow Piet’s and Mr Happy advice regarding your case. I see no sense in hanging through an injury, regardless of what caused your injury intense PE is only going to make matter more complicated. REST mate.

Well crap! I posted yesterday in this thread that after taking a 5 day break from PE(hanging), that I started up again and had a very successful day of hanging. All felt great, I was back up to my old weight, no problems. Last night my woman and I even had a very nice long romp in the sack! Oh Ya! ;-) However, this morning I got up and lo and behold Ive got some major fluid build up. It looks like a dognut right behind my head. Anyone else experience this? What do you think?

What I think is you are fucking around with your penis.

There is some sort of conceit running through this thread, primarily with the exchanges between you and pauly, that gaining necessitates the use of heavy weight done on an almost continuous basis.

You choose to believe this you are at best going to toughen your dick up to the point where it won’t grow, and at worst you will hurt yourself.

Fluid build up, or edema, is not a good sign. It is a lymphatic reaction to the stresses you have been putting on yourself (as I suspected, not a thrombosed vein). Though some around here would signal that it’s a neutral PI, that is not strictly true.

When pumping, some edema is going to happed as a result. Good pumping practice is to make this as infrequent and marginal as possible.

If you are getting edema after hanging (not to mention after sex, and a full night’s rest), that is definitely not a good sign.

Give your dick a rest, and while you do think about about negative PI’s; that’s your body is trying signal to you that something’s wrong and it needs time to fix it.

Geez Mr. Happy…did I catch you on a bad day? You don’t seem to be that happy. I dont know what your talking about with the whole conceit thing. I honestly try to be as humble and friendly as possible. I dont claim to be any kind of expert either. Thats why Im here asking for advice and help. Nor do I want to have it out with you, another mod, or another member…which seems to be happening too much. As a matter of fact, the last two threads that I started have somehow been hijacked by mods and members getting into it. All it does is take away from the thread. So Im sorry if I some how rubbed you wrong.

At the same time…thank you for responding. Your response was filled with valuable knowledge, and helpful advice, for that Im grateful. I will definately take some time off. This is the first time that this has happened to me, thats why I asked. If you look back in this thread, all I do is ask for advice. I dont give any, or pretend that I know more than anyone else. I dont brag about how much weight I can hang either. In my 5 months total of hanging, I have never hung more than 10lbs, and I have worked my way up as slowly and responsibly as I know how. Im not just trying to see how much weight I can hang. Honestly I dont even want to hang a lot of weight, I just want to see gains! I also take two days off a week. So Im not trying to push it to the limits, Im just trying to find some gains. Simple as that.

As far as my description if psorisis….I just didnt have a lot of time when I was posting that, and didnt feel like writting a medical journal about it. It would be different if someone had it and was asking me for advice how how to deal with it. So I just gave a simple qwik response. Is that ok? I dont think anyone was harmed in doing so.

The conceit of something is not the same thing as being conceited. It that context ‘conceit’ means ‘central idea.’

So let’s pretend I said:

I wasn’t directing the entirety of my post at you, though.

I was, however, trying to get your attention. Now that I have it, I do hope you pay attention to what I’ve said, and try to be a little more thorough in your research here. There are some folks who, though they have good intentions, are not actually giving out the best advice. Let’s just leave it at that.

My main purpose is not to make you (or anyone) look foolish, but more so to make you pay enough attention to what you’re doing so you don’t hurt yourself unnecessarily or, worse, permanently.

I’m all for you gaining as much as you can, and I’m also in favor of you posting to get your questions and/or problems with the process resolved. It just seemed to me that you aren’t really taking the scope of the advice you get, good or bad, seriously. If I’m wrong about that, then forgive me. I’m just trying to make as sure as I can that you end up with a working dick, you know?

The penis is a pretty durable organ, but it has it’s limits; so if you’re getting negative PI’s, take heed. Take a break. It’s not like a week or even two weeks is going to severely impede your progress. In fact there’s some evidence that a month off (for example) can mean a bump in gains when PE is resumed. They call it ‘deconditioning’.

I didn’t write a medical journal. I wrote a sentence and quoted another sentence from a source and posted a link. It’s just what you do here. If you don’t have time, then say so; though the time I spent may have taken all of 30 seconds… If you post information here, do your best to make sure it’s good information - or at least decent information, that’s all. It’s about participating in a forum properly.

Now, a word about all the red marks.

The Forum Guidelines are here for a reason. Every one of the red marks here would have been caught by a simple spell-check. It takes literally an extra second or two and it makes a huge difference in the quality of reading for the other members. Particularly for the members here who are struggling with English as their second or third language.

I 2ND that Amen. You know you have all these people giving advice, sometimes you don’t know who to listen to. And I DO listen…so I took 5 days off instead of 7. And now, I need to take more. I’m bummed, but that’s life. I have to admit that I’m feeling a little frustrated. My girlfriend and I are planning on moving in together at the end of summer, and at that time my hanging career ends. So these set backs irritate me. I have been hanging again for almost three months without the slightest hint of gains. And I haven’t seen any real gains in over a year. What to do?

DLM4! Penis injuries take a long time to heal, sometimes they don’t heal, sometimes they heal wrong.

I think you need to grow a thinking cap and stop PE now while you still got a penis that works.

Unfortunately you may be an example of someone who hangs at low weights and doesn’t gain. There is only one obvious solution and that is using heavier weight. I am like that as well, it’s very common, Bib said he made most his gains between 17.5 and 25 lbs. You never got to that weight, so that’s why you didn’t gain in my opinion.
Now I’m sure that paragraph above here and my recommendation to use heavier weights is again going to give Mr.Happy a coronary, but what other option is there?Go down in weight? Lol. If I’m repeating myself, I’m sorry.
