What is The Definition Of Comfortable Hanging?

I’ve reached a point where, when I hang, I barely feel the weight (no pain or “good pain” as some call it) if I remain completely still. I only feel it when I swing the weight a bit. Even with higher weights. I also feel sore and see the temporary stretch once the weight is removed but not while it’a on. I know for a fact that this is due to the wrapping technique because everytime I change it slightly. I end up gnashing my teeth looking at the stopwatch every few seconds in a set because I really feel some sort of slightly painful discomfort.

My question is, if I barely feel the weight while sitting still but still getting sore when weight removed, am I hanging correctly or do I constantly need to feel it during the sets by significantly upping my weight?

You shouldn’t feel pain. That you barely feel it is probably an indication of a good wrap and the weight being supported properly by your penis, rather than by your skin. The question you should be asking yourself is how does it feel after you’ve done your sets. Do you get to the last set and have a similar feeling that you must take the hanger off? If not, maybe this is the indication that you should go up in weight or increase the number of sets.

I doubt it’s the sets because I do 3 hours a day minimum. With 15 lbs. I get the feeling of “have to take it off now” on the sets but it’s so bearable that sometimes I do 30 minute sets, simply because, I don’t cut off to much circulation i.e. my penis doesn’t get too cold.

I’ll try significantly upping the weight to maybe 20lbs for a day. I’ve reached 18 before but I’m taking the approach of sticking to one weight for a minimum of one month before increasing so that I am sure I’ve completely maxed out gains at that particular weight.

Maybe I’ve found the perfect wrap technique for me. Either way, it’s making it possible for me to do my 3 hours minimum a day way easier than before.

If you are reaching the point where it becomes unbearable already then the major question is are you gaining? Any PE has to be judged in terms of whether it brings gains, doesn’t it. You might do better adding a fulcrum or swinging your sets (which I realise is hard the way the majority of people hang). When did you last take a break?

I have only recently started this type of routine. Just been 3 weeks actually. Well 2 of active hanging. Did one week, took a one week break in the second and I’m just starting my third. I’m only going to measure every 100 hours hanged, which is also about a month. I’ve definitely gained though. I can tell by how much shaft space there is between my head and my hand when I grasp my penis with both hands. it’s steadily increasing which is a good sign. No numbers until I get to my first 100 hours hanged. This is so I stay motivated and not get discouraged by measuring every day and seeing nothing.

If you are gaining well, don’t change anything. You’ll kick yourself if you go up in weight and stop gaining. It sounds like you are comfortable, you are putting in enough time and you are gaining.

All I have done is hanged. Never had the patience for a manual routine because at the time my insecurities and anxiety were at their peak. Started with a homemede, now using a Bib.

Exactly. My current premise is that an exercise that gives you an immediate gain is better than an exercise that leaves you shorter immediately afterward. All long-duration stretches, and hanging ANY amount of weight, leaves me shorter afterward. My 3-Step Penis Workout (now totally invisible on Google, but I’m patient) has the exact opposite effect, and unlike pumping, isn’t just lymphatic-fluid swelling, and doesn’t risk decreasing your EQ.

Jelqing and stretching leaves me longer afterwards. I’ve always thought that was kind of the point. I agree it’s a good idea to track post workout size as this seems to be a good indicator of the effectiveness of a routine.

Many people who use pumping effectively attempt to avoid swelling from fluid. After all that might look impressive to some but it doesn’t lead to permanent gains. It’s probably an indicator of too high a pressure being used. For those seeing fluid buildup from pumping, reduce pressure and/or time in the pump.

Longer afterwards than normal flaccid length or longer than erect length or longer than bone pressed flaccid stretched length? which one?
