What damage can stretching too far do?

I’m putting this in hangers as it seem the right place. What kind of damage does stretching too far or using too much weight do?

I’ve been doing some stretching in the bath with the vac ads and the dynamic cord that comes with it. Last night I shifted position (sat more upright), I didn’t feel any change in the stretch, didn’t feel any discomfort but looked down awhile later and my wang was probably stretched a little bit past erect length.

Immediately after my flaccid felt softer than normal, and had a great hang but I had difficulty getting it up directly after. Although thinking back, I’ve never tried to get it up immediately after stretching in the bath, and many talk of temporary loss of EQ immediately after certain things. Woke up with morning wood but not as woody as usual, although flaccid hang is still better than normal.

I later checked how much tension would have been on the line and it would have been just around 1kg or 2.2 pounds.

My imagination is telling me I may have reinjured myself (I have Peyronies) , but my sensible mind is saying 10-15 min at 1kg in a 35-40 degree celsius bath could not have done any damage. Am I right?

ps. apologies for the ramble, I think I’m just looking for reassurance. But also interested in what damage could be done if one did use too much weight.

Micro injuries lead to gains and macro injuries lead to well, injured penis. When you say “too far”, do you mean length wise or generally too much weight too soon?

How much stretching/hanging experience do you have? I stretched for 9-10 months and now I hang 1 kg for 100 minutes a day and my EQ went up.

As it was with a dynamic cord rather than weights I say length, but it is all one and the same I suppose. To stretch too far I’d need to use too much tension which would be too much weight.

I’ve been using a traction extender since January which i tested and the tension came out to around 1kg. The variable this time was that I was in the bath (been doing this for a few weeks) so the heat meant my penis could stretch further without feeling uncomfortable, not sure if that is a good or bad thing.

Did you increase weight or time?

I think it is actually easier stretching too far manually that with an hanger. 1 kg of force isn’t much more than the stretching force that is pushing your penis when you have an erection, I guess.

You can stretch your penis to it’s max stretched length comfortably and I don’t think that will do any damage. It’s that extra yank people give it in the hopes of stretching it even more…those are the threads I have seen where people speak of a severely damaged suspensory ligament.

It would be nice to stretch my dick to 10”…it just isn’t happening…at least right now. However I can comfortably stretch to 7.5” and if I think back 6 months ago it was around 7” and it just wouldn’t stretch any further…but low and behold 6 months later it did. Apart from potential damage, excessive force when stretching hinders gains. The penis senses you’re yanking the shit out of it and it protects itself by toughening up. I’m sure that is a limiting factor for many here.

One way or another, I don’t think 1 kg could’ve cause an injury, especially if you warmed up prior to it.

I started with 1 kg about a week ago doing a total of 50 minutes a day, now I’m still at 1 kg, but I’m increasing time. I’ll attempt a total of 120 minutes today.

Same here. I can only stretch bpfsl to 6.5” where my EL is 7”. Are you a hard length gainer at all? I am curious if we are the same. If anything I seem to gain girth more, than being said, I haven’t gained much girth at all. I just now after alot of stretching I got nothing from it.

BPFSL is dependent on factors like warmness/coldness or anything that can constrict the smooth muscle. When you have an erection the brain sends chemicals which relaxes the smooth muscle so that is why your BPEL can be longer than BPFSL. Just try to take a few days off PE and see if your BPFSL increases.

I think one possibility is larger flaccid girth. It’s harder to stretch one that is thicker? Or an enhanced retraction response, is another possibility? My NBPEL is longer than my BPFSL. Maybe some of the really thick guys can comment.


Starting Size: April, 28, 2010: NBPEL-7" Girth-6" (base, MSG, glans)

Currently: BPEL-8" NBPEL-7.25" Girth-6.25" (base)/6.125" (MSG)/6.125" (glans)

If I stretch after girthwork my BPFSL is 7” same as my BPEL. However, if I stretch in a warm bed before doing any pumping or clamping I can pull it to almost 8”.

I don’t think stretching your flaccid to any length causes injury. It’s clamping a hanger tight enough to hold heavy weights that fucks up your dick.

Go to WallMarts and get a fish scale. Pull it with your hand. You might be surprised just how much weight you can pull with your hand. Back during my insane period I used to hang 40 pounds with the Bib for about 3 minutes, then reduce the weight to 20 pounds and finish the 20 minute set. I think with any clamp-on hanger it’s the grip that’s dangerous, not the pull. I can pull 40 pounds on the fish scale, but can’t hold it very long. This is why I feel it’s hard to hurt yourself with manual stretches. We just can’t hold the stretch long enough to cause any serious injury.
