What Are You Using For Weights

I’m am going to see if I can make some gains hanging after being off any PE for several years now. I have however been doing maintenance PE during that time. I Just made the Captn’s Wench and need to get some weights. What are you guys using?

Actual weights.

The kind your use on a 30mm dumbell.

Weight plates and a few different fishing weights.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

What you might consider is no weights at all but the usage of a Bungee Cord calibrated so you know what the stress level is. There are many advantages to Bungee hanging in that gains will be faster and as a long term by product gains in girth will be realized along with length gains. All that’s necessary will be to establish SO hanging. The biggest advantage is no loss of erection posture.

How would one go about “calibrating” a bungee to know what the stress is? As this is often given as one of the reasons why individuals choose hanging over stretching, I’d appreciate if you could explain this a little in depth please.

Hang weights off the bungee cord and record measurements of the new length of the cord after you applied 2 pounds, 3 etc… as many as you want.

What I do is use weights to stretch the Bungee and record the data on a chart so when you utilize the Bungee and the measuring tape that comes with it you know at all moments what stress level your at.

I chart out at 2 pound increments. Makes it very easy to keep track of gains progress and control of how much weight is working. One of the big advantages of Bungee hanging is you can change the amount of weight just by either stepping forward or backward. No messing with plate weights or whathaveyou.

Plus I have a few 8oz fishing weights sinkers/or whatever they are called..

Started hanging back in November at 2.25 lbs today I’m at 7.5 lbs regardless of what hanger or type of hanger you use, regardless of how many pounds of weight you buy, just go slow increasing the weight.

Walmart has cheapass plates from 2.5lb and up. I think I got a 2.5 and 4 5lbers for like $22 or something.

I do something similar for my vac ADS setup. I use rubber bands to connect my knee strap to the ADS cap. I test the rubber bands with weights of known size, seeing how far the bands stretch. In my case, it seems that 3 medium rubber bands put about 2 lbs of force on the ADS cap. For me, that’s enough tension to cause fatigue over time, but not so much as to create circulation problems or pain.

And I think that Monty’s right about SO hanging. I saw an idea here on the forum on how to do SO hanging more easily. I attach a hook under my desk, put a pulley on the hook, and run the weight rope through the pulley to my hanger while I’m seated at my desk (see attached drawing). Then I put a rice sock or hot water bottle on my cock while I’m hanging to keep it warm. Using lighter weights for longer time (hat tip: monkeybar), heat (hat tip: firegoat), and SO position (hat tip: monty) seems to work.

Now the only thing that your missing by sitting is you have a more difficult time of accomplishing OTL hanging left and right which when applied will result in faster gains.

From the SO position “i.e.standing” is you can OTL just by twisting the hips and go back to your base position in just a second or two at the most. This gives you the ability to accomplish not just OTL but other things like Fulcrums which when all are utilized within a typical routine of a 20 minute set your dick gets a very through workout and the big advantage is speeder gains.

It’s hard for me to get lots of time in while standing up, but I think you’ve got a very good point. I may be able to rotate my chair to the right and left so that the rope holding the weight sometimes goes over one leg or the other. I’m very happy with my gains, however. I’ve only been at this a bit less than 4 months, but have gone from 7x5.25 BPEL to 8x5.5 BPEL. I’m sure that will slow down going forward, though. I’m doing about 60 hours a month hanging with 10 lbs, 60 hours a month with the ADS, and the newbie routine in the morning. The advice on this forum has been great. Thanks!

Starting off at low weights, you can use something simpler. Water. Just use a plastic milk container (if they come with a handle this is useful), a coke bottle or something, fill and weigh. Increase the weight slowly, rather than in large steps, use two milk containers to increase further. Also there are no questions about what the weight is for if stealth is a factor.

The only issue with water is the bulk, which will become even more of an issue as weight increases.

An alternative is lead buckshot or fishing weights (if they can be purchased cheaply). Again you can modify the weight to the nth degree but bulk is less of a problem. Also you don’t need a sealed container, so a jug would do. In fact you could use anything made of lead as long as you have a receptacle you can fit it into.

Almost anything can be made into effective weights when you start hanging. 1kg bags of sugar in a carrier bag. Anything with weight :)
